Looking at the Vizio Java at walmart for 497$ but is the 1080p wasted on a smaller set?

So should I go bigger 720p plasma or bigger 720p lcd?

Post a good brand with price lower then 600$ or which ever way you think i should go if its not with the 32" java

Personally, I would avoid Vizio like the plague. When I worked at Walmart, Vizio had the highest return rate of any other TV's we sold. I don't know if they improved on the Java, as they came into stock right when I left the company.

Personally, I just replaced my old 37" Polaroid 720p (FLM-3732) with this.

I've only had it for a few days, but I absolutely LOVE it. I know it's out of your range, but it's better to make sure you get what you'll be happy with. I made that mistake with the Polaroid when I bought it 2 years ago. I looked at the price and based my decision mostly on that.

Really? I currently work at Walmart, and Vizio is rarely returned at my store (at least as a percentage of the total number we sell...Vizio outsells all the other brands by a lot). Biggest number of returns I see in direct relation the number sold are Polariod, RCA, and Sanyo.

Same here. Vizios are returned just about as much as any other TV. Most customers just do stupid shit to break them so they can return them. I can't count how many TVs were returned after the super bowl that were claimed as "defective".
