360 achievement problem

Heres the quick story. when i first got my 360, i brought it to a friend's house to get it online and register my gamertag. Later on, I loaded my profile onto a friend's Xbox. after that, I played my xbox for a good while offline and got about 2k acievement points.

I recently got mine back online to play Halo online and it wiped my score back to when I had it on a friend's Xbox. Is it possible to recover the achievements from my saved games?
 
yea wherever the save files for the games are that u got 2k achievement points are should be used to take the profile online and that SHOULD work... if not let us know
 
If you get achievement points on a 360 while offline, then recover your gametag to another 360, none of the offline achievements are transferred.

Some milestone achievements can be re-earned by simply loading up the game, collecting/earning/doing one more of the thing tied to the achievement, or beating one level/the final level of the game. In other cases, you may need to do the achievement again.

If you post the games, maybe someone could give you a definite answer as to if they are easily recoverable or not.
 
I have Halo 3, the ones for completing Legendary and below, Sonic the Hedgehog, all except the mastered and complete achievements, and Mirror's edge, all minus the speed runs and star rankings.

go online on the xbox where u got the achievements (and where the saves are) and they should upload

Didn't do anything. I played online with Halo 3 and it didn't give me the achievement. Maybe I have to "nudge" the 360 to get them. Say in Sonic the Hedgehog, play one of the missions that I completed and no matter what I get, it will recheck my save game. Dunno if that will work.

My gamertag was on another person's xbox. While it was on another person's xbox, i used my xbox to earn the achievements that i used to register my gamertag offline. When i recovered my tag, it wiped my achievements pre-recover but my saved data is in tact.

the other dude might be right then... last try might be to earn an achievement on the xbox with the save files... if that doesnt work u may have lost em
 
You definitely lost them. When you recovered your Gamertag, it downloaded the information from the last time you were online with it. You have to re-earn everything you got while offline.
