Sorry, this sites earch engine has not been working for me the whole day, and I have a strict amount of time, but anyway:
I've been googling and reading mixed signals on Costcos policy involving the 360.
If I buy it there, some say it's covered for 90 days only now, some say 2 years, and some say a life time.
Any one want to verify the real answer?
Seeing as how that podcast with Microsoft announcing it's inevitable that all 360's will break down entirely faster than expected, I really wont take a plunge into this until I'm sure that I can at least justify my purchase by making it last at least 3 years (life time warranty!)
Also, do you request/buy the warrantry at Costco? Or is it simply a part of their expert service so long as you keep your receipt of purchase?
Walk in, hand them the faulty console, walk out with a new beautiful faulty console.
Oh and coincidentally Costcos site gets error msgs when I try to view the 360 hardware section, so can someone confirm a price on the 360's they sell? lol. preferably the elites.
Thanks a lot.
Sorry the search isn't working.
