360 Elite + M:UA/Forza 2 for $399.99 at Dell

FWIW, it's M:UA Gold Edition that they are bundling with, plus two faceplates that probably nobody cares about.
Nice deal but tax hurts it...
$50 off is pretty good. I want to upgrade and give my 20gb xbox to my son, but I'm really scared of dealing with Dell after seeing what my buddy went through with CS about some laptops.

I bought my 360 from Dell a couple years ago and I never had a problem with them. Shipping was fast and the system was well packaged.

It's good but with tax it ends up costing the same price as picking one up locally. :|

That is not possible. If you pick it up locally at 450 with 12.5% sales tax you would pay $506 and change after tax instead of $450 after tax. It is possible if your local sales tax is high enough that this deal is no different than buying from another online retailer who doesn't charge sales tax for your state but that is a different story.

Not everyone is going to have tax that high. For my state sales tax will be the exact same amount as the rebate I can get from using the discover card portal the OP mentioned.

Uh unless there's a place having a sale locally, they're still $449 retail.
