360 Elite Trade-In deal with EB/Gamestop?

I remember when the Elite came out in April that EB/Gamestop was running a deal that you could trade in your old Premium and have it go for $250 bucks towards your 360 Elite purchase. I was wondering if this deal is still in use and if so did anyone negotiate a way to have time to transfer your old HDD data on your premim console to your new HDD on the Elite whether it be through another return process or something like that.
