360 freezes with Marvel?

Alright so I just rented MArvel ultimate alliance.

I stick it in, and when it gets to the main menu (btw the game booted up really slow) the 360 makes that noise where it like shuts down and it just whirrs a little.

the screen turns black and nothing happens.

but wityh other games with 360 works fine (e.g Oblviion, Saints Row)

I haven't had a single freeze on that game, although my controller does some strange crap in that game and I never have problems with it in anything else.

Yeah, I haven't had any problems with my copy, and I've put about 25+ hours into it. Exchange it if you can, you probably have a bad disc.

Hopefully a bad disc, because otherwise it might be your 360

I had that same problem with the 360s of mine that broke down. Marvel and all other games run fine on this 360 though *knock on wood*.

Mine has froze two or three times... I saw some people at GameFAQ's complaining about the same thing.

I played it , for what seemed like forever , yesterday without a single problem .

i tihnk its a faulty disk cuz all my other games work fine
