360 Heads Up Info @ Sam's Club B&M

Hey giving everyone who hasn't purchased a 360 a heads up that my Sam's Club will be getting there 16 in tomorrow. They went to the Distribution Center on Dec 12th and it usually takes 3 to 4 days for them to reach Sam's Club from there. This should be good for all Sam's Club's, So call your stores in the morning and see if they got them in yet, if not definitly by Saturday. This is all insider info from my friend so its good.
 
That's where I got mine at launch. They're bundled, but it's the best bundle too: Premium system, extra wireless controller, and a plug and play kit for $449. Good luck!
 
My Sams has them but I am not a Business member so I have to wait but by the time they let normal members in they will all be gone.

The Sam's club near me got 16 in this morning. My friend somehow had an inside that called him this morning, he went and signed up for Sams club, and managed to get 2! One for him, and one for me. Im excited as hell to go home tomorrow and get it.

Just go there tomorrow and get the 360 tag......then go to the membership counter and get a $35.00 advantage membership. Then buy your 360. Sam's Has a 365 day guarentee on their memberships. Go back the next week or next day and say your unsatisfied with your membership. Collect your 35.00 back and be on your way.

I haven't been in a Sam's in awhile, but I thought you had to show a membership card to get in or something.

Nope, just say your gonna sign up for one. But tell them you'll need to get the 360 tag or item so you wont miss out.
 
OK thanks. I always assumed there was a counter or something near the door where people would sign up. I haven't been in a Sam's in probably five years so I couldn't remember.
 
I called sam's friday morning and ofcourse the lady who answers the phone says No. we are not getting more this year! and click.. and i was like wTF!! i'll call tomorrow again!!! hopefuly i could avoid damn bestbuy hell camp!
 
well the 2 samsclubs one I ordered back last month finally came in and netted me a decent profit on ebay plus I got 2 more controllers from that bundle to use :D
 
Yep, went to Sam's this morning and they had some. I was #13 when I got there at 7:10am and 14,15,16 were in line right after me. I'm just glad I got one.

tried my sams this morning, no luck. An employee mentioned something about next tuesday, so I'm guessing that will be the day for Richmond, VA.
 
just drove home from sams in auburn, wa, they got their shipment yesterday afternoon! freakin lady i talk to yesterday said they are not expecting any yesterday!
 
SCORE! got mine this morn.

really seemed to be the unknown launch. i heard they got 48 units and only 6 people where there when they went on sale.

at 7 p.m. there were already 13 people camped out at BB for 20-some odd consoles.

so a big ol thanks to the OP.

damn employees. i called mine at 1:30pm. the lady said they would be in later in the evening. i called again at 5 pm. a guy answered the phone saying they went on sale at noon and they sold out (obviously). damn bitch was probably looking out for her fellow soccer moms.
 
Oh g-d please. I need one of these for my friends company (and I wouldn't mind one for myself as well...I'm really buying into the hype I guess). Wish I would have read this sooner. Any chance that a Sam's might still have some of the bundles in tomorrow morning?
 
Nothing Comes in on Sundays but you might wanna try Monday if your Club hasn't recieved any in yet.

Also they recieve the shipments in at the night time from like 10pm -2am. So try monday like I said.
 
If you aren't a business member can you still get in at 7AM? I know they say they "business members only" from 7-10, but I don't know how strict they are about it. I bet it probably varies from club to club, but if anyone has anything to comment...
 
the sams i got mine at said they got their shipments in at around 4 in the morn. so you might want to be there around 7. i also found out that if when i called and acted like i knew they were getting some in, they told me more info. not sure why but if i just asked if they were getting some in they were like yeah in the next 7-10 days. however, when i called back and asked if when they were selling their new shipment they told me when they were getting them in and everything.

as far as getting in at 7, i had a business card but they weren't really checking. just flashing a card was good enough to get in the doors. so you might can try that.

Very cool. Everyone still Check your Sam's Still since the 360's had a Sam's Arrive date between the 15th and 20th. Every State will be different.
 
My Sam's had 12 this morning, grabbed one of the last few. I find it so funny that all those people waited all night at bestbuy, all I had to do was wake up a few minutes before 7:00 am and I got a better deal with the bundle. HaHa, bestbuy suckers.
 
MY friend also told me that the managers told them to keep hush about that shipment they got in on Sat. They said that if any Member asks about them tell them we did not recieve them in yet. I'm guessing its to give the members a false sense of hope and they won't be mad or disappointed. Also alot of the associates wil not tell you when they are getting them in since they probably missed out on launch and want one themselves.
 
^ yeah at the sams i was at, several of the people getting one were employees there. i don't know if they were on the clock or not. one of them was the general manager of the store, he wasn't working and had to stand in line like everyone else.
 
Yea they treated everyone the same including employee's. They were probably off the clock since if they got caught being on the clock they would have been fired. Sam Walton doesn't give a fuck. lol
 
:D I went to samsclub for the first time yesterday. It was nice because it wasn't crowded like costco (which was directly next door). They must have crazy competition. Oh well yeah no 360's there which wasnt suprising but good thing I got use out of those membership. Gotta love that bundle tho. I got to keep the 2 wireless controllers and play and charage kit and just sell off the consoles on ebay and still net a profit and keep the accessories.
 
Thankx for the tip. Wandered in Friday around 11:00 looking for a HD TV and picked up number 15. Now I gotta save up for a TV again.
 
My Sam's club got a bunch in this morning, but they sold out in an hour and a half.

This sucks because I am not a business member so I have to wait until 10:00 to get in, but they all sold out before 9:00.

heads up guys I scored one on saturday and mine is getting another shipment in this saturday which is the same size as what they got last Saturday. This may be a weekly thing.
 
My wife works at sams and she had to wait in line like everyone else. Only a total of two workers bought one including her.

Lansing was sold out in minutes.
