360 headset petition...i know...

Im going to sign off on this. My headset was DOA right out of the box. You have to tilt the wire up to get it to work. Im going to buy the wireless one so that I dont have to deal with it anymore.
 
Cheapy D said it wasnt worht it for the price. And my friend has already bought the logitech one...it sucked...the halo 2 one doesnt work on the 360 either(meaning it sucks) So anyone that makes a comment about this is an idiot
 
Any headset (with the small jack) will work with the 360. The volume control is on the dashboard. The Halo 2 headset most certainly does work.
 
I have the headset that came with my launch unit and it works perfect. Either people don't take care of their stuff(you know who you are) or it was broke from the get go. At least one comes with the 360, When I play resistance: FOM.............. NO ONE HAS A fuckING MIC! That shit pisses me off that Playsation games even in it's next gen has a large amount of no mic bitches. At least Nintendo has one built into the remote, I don't think it would be a bad idea for the MS 360 type X control to have a built in mic.
 
ok i have gone through 5 wired headsets since launch and i recently bought the wireless one.

I love the wireless one it is great in my honest opinion.

But with the problems of the 5 wired headsets. Has anyone thought that maybe the problem isnt only with the headset*yes i know its a piece of crap* . Because i think it might have to do with the port on the bottom of the controller. maybe something could be wrong there which also makes the headset not work as well.

Anyways ive used the headset a total of 9 hrs so far. i used it for 4 off of a 2 hr charge. then charged overnight and its still going. anyways I'd say go for the wireless its a great thing even though its expensive.

Exact same problem with mine. Im just using a xbox headset, which is broken at the attachment.
 
This has been my only problem with the 360 at all. I've had about 6 headsets (made sure I've gotten insurance on them all after #1) have broken. I'm currently on the NFL Motorola headset and it's working really good, but so were all my other ones before they mysteriously broke. So is the wireless headset worth the price? I really want a good headset.

Yes I am dumb because i am not aware that all headsets with a jack that fits in the controller will work. God lord why are people so freakin stupid...Yes i know that but unless you have used it you wouldnt kow. The halo 2 headset is horrible of the 360

shut the fuck up and go home.. that is the headset i use and it works flawless... i like how you took the time out of your day to PM me about how you think i shouldnt correct you WHEN I DO OWN THE HALO 2 one.

I use the Plantronics X30 instead of the cheap Microsoft one and love it. It's much more durable and comfortable. I can both hear other people better and they can hear me better.
