360 making me mad, also question bout EBgames warranty

Just need to rant;

Played 360 for a few hours today, and it decides to shut off on me 3 times within about 2 hours. Once I was in Texas Hold Em and won over 100K and shut down, didn't save in my bankroll.

I even have an intercooler, and the 360 isn't hot at all to the touch, so I don't see how it can be an overheating problem. It was made in April 06 so not first of the line, but I may have to exchange it...

Oh, I have a 2yr warranty from EBgames, but should I return it to EBgames first or to MS? I'm not sure if they (EB) would take a 360 with a new serial number, though I don't know how they would know.

I just did, lets see how that goes.

I did notice a few times when I first put intercooler on that it would restart randomly, while it didn't do that w/o it.

I just like to have it on since it does make it cooler. I just don't think it connects to the power as well, plug looks loose all the time when plugged into intercooler.
 
yeah just have a small desk fan blow onto the system intercooler was cool at first but was messing up peoples systems electricity connection until they took it off. small desk fan would do though
 
Like someone else said, take the intercooler off. We have a big thread around here about how those things cause more problems than they prevent.
 
The inter cooler is trash. Also return it to eb. All they do is go in the back and make sure its your system then give you a brand new one no questions asked...My friend has their waranty
