Hi, I'm looking for a random deal on a slightly used 360 Wireless Adapter, and I am saving up enough cash for one. I just want to resolve the laggy problems in MW2 and SFIV that's done with a birdged connection.

If you can use a PC to set it up, this is what I got my cousin when he moved in. At $37 with free shipping it is hard to do better new or used (unless you want to flash a DD-WRT router). Performance is decent in terms of reception to my wireless G network. I actually paid a bit more than this price.

The downside is that you have to configure it and the instructions are lacking. Make sure you use AP Client Mode! I found that out after about an hour of wailing and gnashing of teeth. I'm not the most handy networking guy, but I'm not a neophyte either. Check it out:

You'd be surprised at what you can find at thrift stores. I work at GameStop and some lady came in, referring to the new Wireless N-Adapter that hit the market recently, saying one was donated and still in the package. She said she slapped a $4.99 price tag on it.

Are you sure that this access point from the URL you gave me would fix the lag and random disconnection right after I get through the instructions, configure the settings, and activating AP Client Mode?
I can sell you mine I'm not using it, 60 shipped if interested.
And does it get the job done on eliminating lag in MW2 and disconnections in SFIV?

that all depend on your internet, any lag could come from a lag switch from a host or a poor online community and development like SF4 has. PM me though if you do want it, I wont be checking this forum anytime soon.

Oh, okay. Time to cut my money in a debit card in half.

I can't promise anything, as your network could be the culprit, but it should outperform bridging via your laptop. It isn't as fast as my wired 360, and our network sometimes gets a bit hairy. For reference I have a laptop, a Wii, 2 netbooks, a desktop PC, and 2 360s connected wirelessly (one using this Access Point) and a PC and 360 connected via wires into a lower level linksys G+ router, sharing 12 mbps from a cable modem.

I have switched the Trendnet AP with the others I use (for the other 360 and the desktop and laptop) and there is no appreciable difference. Again, YMMV, but you can't really do better new unless you can get the $5 wireless 'N' adapter at Goodwill.
