360 Wireless Headset $40, Text Messaging Kit $20, WiFi Adapter $75 at Amazon

$75 is pretty close to the $70 used you can get at Gamestop which is the best deal I can think of sans coupons and special sales. Might be worth thinking about.

EDIT. LOL. Should mention what I'm talking about... That describes the Wifi adapter.
Hows the wireless headset? I hate the wired microsoft one, it always falls off and breaks alot
I had the Halo 3 wireless headset and returned 2 of them because they had trouble picking up my voice while playing Halo. Had to talk a lot louder than normal so my voice wouldn't cut off. Not sure if these white ones have the same problems.
120GB HD is also $149.99, which is as cheap as it's been at a retail outlet, save any price mistakes.
The 120GB HD is on clearance at Toys R Us for $149.98. I bought it for $120 with the 20% off clearance item (which ended yesterday). However, I think someone said that the next clearance will be 50% off, which potentially will make the 120GB HD $75.

Yup. Best course of action would be to wait for a 25% 360 coupon.

With EDGE, you'd be looking at $45.49+tax.

I know I don't "need" the messaging kit but I really want it for some reason. I'll have to think this one out today.

Nice to see it's on clearance and would only be cheaper if the next clearance is 50% off.

i have a usb keyboard that i had hooked up to my 360, but i always hated getting up to hook it up and put away. this device is worth the money.

The 512MB memory unit is $40. I haven't seen this discounted before. Any better deals out there?

It's obviously still a ridiculous price when you can get 8 GB flash drives for less than this, but is there any other straightforward way to back up some critical game save or other file in case of a HD failure?
Does the chatpad work in games?

Like editing a player's name in Madden or your band quote in Rock Band?
Yes it does, and because everyone seems to own it.. GTA uses it very well when entering in websites at the internet cafe, and on the police computer

As long as the game makes the 360's text entry blade pop out, a chatpad/usb/etc will work just fine.

Forgive my stupidity, but how do you tell if a game does this? Do most games?

I'm with Kryptinite - I don't need this, but I've been wanting it for a few months now. If I could use it in games, that would cinch it. I don't really like to voice chat with people I don't know personally, and the headsets always seem to have such problems.

As of this post, Amazon has raised the prices of most or all of the items on the page that Cheapy posted.

Wireless headset $40->$50
Messaging kit $20->$29

This after they put at the top of the page (and it's still there now) "Prices good until May 24, 2008 11:59 PST."

News flash, Amazon: it's only May 18, 2008, at least here on Planet Earth.
