Maybe you can get one of the Older HD models on clearance. Seen them go for 40-80 dollars brand new.

i think the Kindle HD 8 was just 69.99 not that long ago i got a few but what it cost to ship it wouldnt be worth my time (since most people are only willing to give 20 to 25 max for them...

 
What's your price range? I've been in the market for one too, and have found some decent deals on ebay and Amazon used

I'm honestly in the pricing phase right now. Just more trying to see what people are offering. Checked ebay but didn't really see any deals that looked like "must have"s. I don't have an amazon account, don't really want one either...
