3DS[i] eShop Shop Thread:**LAST DAY TO GET ZELDA 4 SWORDS FOR FREE**

My high score on 10 floors is now 24450. :) Anyone do better? What I'll say about this game is that I tend to stop playing after 3 or 4 plays in a row, but those 3 or 4 plays are a blast every time I do them. I.e. this is a perfect download game.

Hi everyone:

I'm working on my lowball sale at the moment. Once I'm done with that, I'm planning on updating these threads.

Sorry for the delays - just been hectic. And now I'm studying for an A+ certification, which is...oodles of fun.

Precipice is neat - I need to play it more to get a better idea of a strategy. Right now I'm not focusing on moving blocks around, so I don't rack up combos that well. I'm just stuck in a "need to climb" mindset.

Didn't really care for the Art.Style game before this one....with moving the colored squares around to match to orbs in order to clear a stage.

Nice sale! Just make sure that nobody else bids on the stuff I bid on, though.

Precipice gets much better once you start trying to push blocks round to make combos, all the while trying not to get crushed or fall.

My high score is 215,810. I have NO IDEA how I scored that high. I'm playing non-stop now and I'd like to think that I'm getting more proficient, but I top out at 30,000 points usually.

Zengage is not that impressive and reminds me of those slider puzzles, which I hate, or a 2D Rubik's Cube. They put some weird effort into the presentation though, like how the menu screen is some bizarre asbstract reworking of the human digestive system. My girlfriend likes it though, so I'm glad.

I had a 46k game going and then got crushed. Sad panda. But 215k! Wow! The points all come from have multiple filled lines on screen at the same time. Each additional one makes everyhing more valuable. At least that's how I understand it. You must have had a lot at once.

The funny thing is that I think I got that back when I was still playing 'avoid getting smooshed' and wasn't moving boxes around.

I rather crushed that previous score. :) Anyone do better?

The key to the game is to get 10 or more rows/columns filled and on screen at the same time. The only way to do this is to fill the entire first level and then keep adding more before they fall away. After that just keep trying to keep the count up and survive. Also note that each space filled is worth more the more filled lines on screen at the same time. Lastly note that turning and climbing take more time then going straight and level, so minimize turning and climbing.

EDIT: fixed the image link

I'm kinda sorta thinking of getting the Brain Age game. I do like those games and when I think about it, they are the kind of thing you only want to play for short spurts, so that does make them a good candidate for something you want to have available, but not taking up physical space. Plus this new one apparently has some new games not found in any cart version (and others that are), so that's cool. But I don't know. Maybe.

WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is why I bought the DSi!

Someone confirm what size it is.
I'm down to 120 blocks! :(
outside of knowing its an animation tool, I've got no clue what it is. Time to download it anyways
Indeed! Make your own GIFs!
Here's the famous one Nintendo made:

You can do color and add sound as well to upload to their site and view from there.

Yeah, I've seen a few since their launch. Great stuff.

Here's mine that I'm not finished with yet.
Just started learning to how use the tools.
The Japanese community has also been very active since it was launched, and here are a few notables I found:

Dragon Quest III Battle

I'm trying to figure this one out. I haven't messed around with this program more than an hour or so yet, but how is this animating? Are these not screenshots or are they actual illustrations?

anyone check out Pop+ Solo yet? Game doesn't look that hot but the music sounds good so I dunno if I want to pick it up or not.

also, can't wait for Ghostwire to get its DSi release next year

Gameplay looked too boring to me to be honest.

Looks like UNO is coming next month.

500 points aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand.................... ONLINE MATCHMAKING.
You can even use the camera to make your avatar.

Pop+ is great. Very addicting. Very good. I like it better than the Wii one simply because touching the bubbles is a bit easier to aim at the bubbles.

Wow, that sounds really great. I hope the point value is reasonable. That video for Uno makes me totally want this day 1. It looks like in play against folks you don't have added to your friend list that others appear as name-only, no pic. But if you have friends on your list, you get to their pic? Silly either way. Also, I was surprised not to see any kind of chat system, but then, Uno is a pretty fast game.
Wish they'd make a Tetris DS Express though.
Majestic is supposed to be working on one for a hopeful release early next year.

:applause: Bravo, I had forgotten about those yahoos.
Not quite.
No dice then!

I'm convinced that every Tetris game released on any system between the original Game Boy version and Tetris DS that wasn't Tetris The Grandmaster or Tetrisphere sucked balls.

Nobody ever seems to brilliantly expand on Tetris outside of Nintendo with the exception of whoever made Grandmaster.

I didn't think Tetris Splash or Tetris Party were bad games.

Oh and I screwed up but it is in fact Tetris Online making the DSi version (they've been doing all the new versions of tetris, including Tetris DS) with Majesco releasing it

Why do they have to make so many versions of Uno? It really isn't that fun of a game even if played with a real deck. They ought to make a version of Mille Bornes or Water Works or some other much better game.

I wanted to buy a DSi from Amazon.com with a -$75.00 off a console coupons. Since people were trying to sell me the coupon for $55.00 anyway, that would have only been $20.00 in savings. I declined. I waited it out. Today I purchased a black DSi through Dell for $151.52 (that includes tax and shipping). I live in NY so I would have been taxed on Amazon.com anyway- so this deal essentially saved me $30.00. Awesome deal because I even get 1000 free Wii Points and have a ton ready from the Pepsi promotion.

Originally I stated that I will only buy a DSi if it comes with a game. Well... $30.00 off is just as good, if not better!

I had a DS phat, and never a Lite- so I am very excited to finally upgrade!

That DSi shooter would certainly push me towards getting a DSi.

Just add a Virtual Console to the damn thing and I'll be sold.
Hopefully DSiWare shmups don't go unreleased in the US - hopefully the low distribution cost makes them more viable.
I would be surprised if at least this game didn't get a US release as there isn't much known games that are hitting the service and they've got to release one thing per week plus having Nintendo as the publisher gives it another leg up.

I am exploring DSiWare.

Can people please give me their top 3 downloads for the service thus far? I want to know what everyone likes, so hopefully I can find some awesome downloadable games!

Free: Flipnote Studio

Paid:
1. BOXLIFE (puzzle game where you cut and fold boxes, very clever)
2. Pictobits (puzzle game, hard to describe, retro 8 bit throwbacks)
3. Mario vs DK (puzzle strategy game you're probably familiar with, different from original version)

Any chance Nintendo gets their heads out of their asses and starts offering eBooks on this like in Japan? Seriously it's 2 screens, ideal for an eBook and now there's online.
Also does anyone have the Japanese list?
edit: When I mentioned Japan I meant that with the DS they actually offered 50 classic Japanese novels. I don't see why they couldn't do the same here with Public Domain works and offer them as an online download.
