3DS Street pass where did you get your first hit?

It will also work with the system open, as long as you aren't playing an original DS game. It doesn't drain the battery all that much, as long as you're charging it at night.

Yeah, it takes very little power. I've left my 3DS on overnight plenty of times without it draining the batter a whole lot.
 
Still have yet to get a hit in Streetpass. Took the 3ds out to walmart and to eat tonight. Nothing. May have to start taking it to comic shops and such. Hopefully, Nintendo won't replace the current puzzles and quest with new ones. Maybe just add them? I haven't done a single thing in the Mii Plaza since I haven't found any other 3ds users...
 
I've gotten 3 hits now since my last post. 2 from Wal-mart and one from a local burger joint. Took the 3DS to target and toys r us yesterday in a bigger city. Nothing but the steps.
 
I have also only gotten 3 hits (making find mii rather hard to play) and one time I only got a mario kart hit but not a streetpass (find mii hit) =( that was annoying.
 
I got a hit on the subway and I believe 2 in or around Best Buy. funny...if I wanted to get a barrage of hits I should just go to the nintendo store on the weekends but...it's not that important to me. Yet.

Just use Play Coins. You can purchase up to 10 heroes for 2 coins each. If you rely on Streetpass hits, you'll never get anywhere.
 
There's Kid Icarus Uprising Puzzle Pieces going out over Spot Pass starting today. I don't know if it'll be permanent or not.
 
I've gotten 99 hits total and I got my 3ds day one. Hits have really picked up recently. I average about I always get at least one a day but that is because I work with kids and young adults who bring their 3ds to street pass with me so I always street pass with the same people every week. I also always street pass with the same person at toys r us. And when I go to a gaming store I am guaranteed to get at least 2-3 hits

From what I've heard it's Europe-only so far.
