3rd party HD's for XBox 360 (not Slim)

Could I get some thoughts, reviews, or experiences with 3rd party Xbox 360 HD's for non-Slim models?  Looking for an upgrade for my 360 HD and don't want to waste money on a dud product.

I dont like 3rd party hard drive for 360.

I have a 120gb drive laying around. PM me if interested.

This has become a pain for me too.  I thought about taking a chance with a lower-priced 3rd party hard drive... until I found out that they're not properly formatted for the second partition that is required to play original Xbox games.   

Looks like it is thumb sticks for me next black friday.
