1 Backyard Wrestling 2: There Goes The Neighborhood $4.99 $4.99
1 GunGriffon: Allied Strike $4.99 $4.99

Pure Pinball and Dark Angel also, hurry

Would anyone be willing to snag a Gun Griffon for me? I'd gladly paypal the cash over along with something for the trouble...

Yeah ignore that, I've been watching Memorick and Gungriffon drop for the past 4 days. They would go OOS in under 3 minutes, and nobody was posting on CAG, that is why I quickly posted my receipt, so you guys could run and get them.

Someone grab me Backyard Wrestling 2 and mail me it 'cause my birthday's Tuesday next week! I always said $4.99 would be my breaking point on it.. or I can pay.. I only have six bucks to my name right now though :(

Snagged GunGriffon. Saw it as the OP did.

I recommend Knight's Apprentice. Arthurian-themed platformer. I like XS games.. they bring over some interesting budget titles from Europe. Try it out for $5.
Damn! Gungriffon, Pinball, and Knights all snatched from my cart as I was checking out. Bastards! :D
Yell at me for taking Pure Pinball out of your cart.

Nailed that down and Cold Winter. Nothing else made me go woo.

You know those PayPal credit card thingys, the ones where you can put money in a paypal account and use it like a credit card.. would that work for EB's site? I could dump some birthday money into an account and wait on another sale or something..

If you're talking about the Paypal debit card, then yes.

It works like a normal debit card, where you can make credit card purchases with it, and it pulls the money out of your Paypal account.

Sadly, I have never gotten the paypal debit bar to work for me at EB...EB requires you to have the verification # from the back of the credit card, which sadly is non-existant in the paypal info...that's why I was begging. *sniff*

Crap, I just searched for Gungriffon about an hour and a half ago to see if it was $9.99 and it was coming up as $20. I leave my computer for an hour and of course it drops all the way to $5. Ahhh!
The PG rebate on top of it pushed me over the edge. Blame them.
Yeah, I hear ya. It'll be back I am sure. No biggie. If not for the $5, I wouldn't have even looked twice at any of those titles probably.

They've never asked for my CC2# from my bank debit card, and as I look at my Paypal debit card, it has one on the back of it.

Odd that yours doesn't. Mine does. On the signature strip, last 4 of the card #, then the 3 digits of the CC2 #.

Metacritic's review blurbs for Knight's Apprentice complained a lot about the controls and the camera, I figure I didn't need another Wave Race type game with Splashdown, even if it's for the Xbox, Gungriffon looks too bad even at $5 fo me (spoiled on Steel Battalion, as well as Mech Assault), and I'm just saying no to Dark Angel.

:D All valid points. Pinball was definitely the most desireable game of the lot for me too, but you shot that all to hell. :D

Actually, I'm not referring to the physical debit card that you can get from paypal - I'm referring to the "virtual credit card" service that they offer. The one that allows you to use paypal funds to purchase from ANYWHERE. Heh. Well...anywhere that doesn't require the extra #...

Sorry, my misunderstanding. Clears it up now. Though, as I went through the EBGames.com order I just placed, they didn't ask for the CC2 # for my card. Just card #, name on the card, and expiration date.

I don't think EB.com takes paypal. They only take the major credit cards. They do take their own giftcards however and if you had Bday money you wanted to bank, you could go to an EB B&M and buy a gift card with your Bday money and then use that when you saw something you wanted at EB.com. However, unlike paypal, you can only use your eb giftcard at eB or maybe at Gamestop when they merge.

Just so you guys know all these same games have been dropping to $4.99 at different times everyday since Thursday. They were all going OOS in very little time. I'm SURE they'll all be back tomorrow.

Gungriffon was $20 instore . . .

Just in front of me, this guy (about 20 years) traded in 4 games all Xbox (Guy Game, Sonic Collection, last year's Madden, and LOTR 3rd Age) for $16 in cash . . . I almost vomitted in seeing such sacrilege.

I've heard this problem before somewhere, and someone gave a fix. I have no clue what it is, but it's something like just use 111 or 123 as the back number. Try to google it.

Well for now all is OOS except for Dark Angel. That shows up as $9.99 new, but when you add it to your cart its price is $4.99. But I don't think I want to drop the bux for a game that some say has lousy graphics - I'd want good graphics of Jessica Alba as that is probably the only reason I'd buy the game.

He bought The Guy Game, so he can't be pitied that much.

hey!!........................I own the Guy Game. :booty:

For everyone that missed Pure Pinball... worry not. I got it a long time ago, and really didn't like it. I wanted to.

I heard him say to his friend "I got the most for the game I paid the least for . . . $7 for Sonic . . . I think he paid full for all of them . . .

$180 worth of games becomes $16 . . . I didn't pity the fool but it made me sick to see EB make money, period.

I would have asked him to step outside and offered him $20 for them. :whistle2:#

I wouldn't mine a paypal debit card. Do I need to apply for it on their website and do I need to have acertain amount of money in their?

Log into your Paypal account, and there should be a link at the bottom of the page that says ATM/Debit card. I believe that's where you go to get one. Either that, or go to the Withdraw area of your account and there's a link to the debit card there.

I picked it up for the few times I'd need to move money from my Paypal account to my bank account quicker than the transfer time takes (which is normally 2 days for me), so I go to the ATM, take the $1.50 fee for the transaction, and deposit the money in my bank account.

I only use it for that, so I end up not keeping any money in my Paypal account. Never been an issue for me. They give you 1.5% cash back on transactions, if you want to use it like a "normal" debit card off of a bank.

Thanks I just got it. This will help with me having that extra $ in paypal. :)

I have no problem doing that but the kid just took the money without any hesitation . . . I saw him with the games last week but he had left the discs at home.

His buddy made a similarly bad tradein at the time to preorder NCAA 2006 . . . its just so hard to watch.

Picked up Backyard Wrestling 2, Dark Angel, and Pure Pinball... threw in Die Hard Trilogy in order to use the SAVER code... 4 games for just over 17 bucks...nice

Well, I really wanted GunGriffon and Memorick, but I went ahead and picked up Pure Pinball and Backyard Wrestling because I needed them for my collection. Hopefully I'll get lucky and pick up Memorick and GunGriffon tomorrow.

I've always entered 000 and had no problems. I've always used the virtual card but maybe I'll go ahead and get a real one too as suggested above.
