4 controller ports... 3 Controller S colors...

As soon as the controller "S" hit, I took my old "brick" to the nearest Gamestop and let them have it. Worst. Controller. Ever. - and I've used the Jaguar controller. :eek:

was there a red controller s for awhile? seems like i remember seeing one on a website....could've been my imagination though.
 
I have seen black, blue, green and grey.
There was a limited edition orange but I don't think that was sold to the public.
 
I don't see what the problem with the fat controller is. I used the fat controllers for over two years and I liked 'em just fine.
 
I have blue, green and two black controllers, however the two black ones have different wire colors - black and green, so it works out at the end I guess.

I'm surprised they haven't made a Live orange color widely available. Isn't orange the new black? :)

I never really thought about this before. An easy solution would be to just put a sticker or tie some string near the top of one of the doubles.

I have a black and green S and 2 3rd party controllers that are identical. (Got them free after rebate at CompUSA months ago.)
 
My favorite is still my grey japanese controller. It kind of has sparkles in it. Also, the slightly looser triggers are nice for Halo 2.

I used to use the Duke....until I tried the controller S and now I hate the Duke. I traded my Duke to someone for their Controller S.
 
I use the Duke now only for Halo/2, and a few other FPS like Unreal. Other than that, I always use the S. I think the thumbstick sensitivity is better on the Duke. IMO, The S is the best for sports games, and its especially noticeable when I play Tony Hawk games with the S over the Duke. It has a better feel.
 
Yeah some people need to get over their stupid superiority complex over which controller they prefer. Power to both I say, use whichever one you like best.

Anyway the color thing does kinda bother me. I just keep the headset plug in the "Player 1" controller to differentiate between the two black ones I got.
 
I bought one of those crystal controllers from the site posted and it came today. It looks really awesome, but unfortunately it's pretty screwed up. The A, B, X, and Y buttons don't work well at all. They only respond 1/2 the time and only when you press down really hard. The Back button arrow isn't facing back, it's stuck pointing up. And worst of all, the slot for the communicator doesn't work either. When you hook up the communicator and mic, the light goes on but you can't be heard. I switched controller back to my old one and it was fine.

I emailed the site but they are closed till Monday. Hopefully I get a refund or exchange...
