4 Titles announced for classic NES series
Unless Castlevania is going to have a save feature, it will suck on the GBA IMO.
I know what you mean, but its been so long sinced i played it.

God those titles suck!!! Dr.Mario is more or less available on Wario Ware and Metroid is on Zero Mission. Release some games we can't play on the gba already for god's sake!!

You mean like Legend of Zelda, Link's Adventure, Castlevania, Super Mario Brothers, list goes on?

Why would they do that? Nintendo fans love throwing their money away on the exact same games over and over again.
what a rip off on Dr. Mario
the same game is on wario ware micro mini game$
Somehow, I don't think that's relevant to the point of the "Classic NES" series. If Super Mario Bros. were available as a mini game elsewhere, it would still seem kind of.. strange to not have SMB available in a Classic NES set. Though they should have put them maybe two per cart, if not more depending.

half of the GBA library are port or port-ish games.... they should just make a nomad like system instead.... what a gimmic!

I agree, for those of us who are old enough to remember these games before they were "classics" and/or those who don't mind emulating, the GBA has a lot less to offer.

I assume you were trying to be sarcastic? I don't really know why you are defending re-releasing games already available on the gba, but whatever. Also Super Mario Bros. was already available as Super Mario Bros. DX. So at least make sure your list contains games that actually aren't already available.

Oh darn. I missed one.

This matter doesn't really concern me, as I actually own all of these on original carts, but for people new to gaming, a "Classic" set just wouldn't make sense without these key titles, exploitation or not.

I'm really not understanding your argument? These people can buy wario ware, which has a full game AND dr. mario. Why do they need Nintendo to release just dr. mario? I'm not trying to start anything, I'm just genuinely curious why this isn't an acceptable option in your eyes?

I play it all the time on my GBA and see no problem, but I do use quick save. Will it suck because it orginally had no save feature whatsoever? Because I'll agree with you there.

BTW Grim Reaper or Death or whatever he is... is da man on the First Castlevania :)... Btw yea it sucks about Dr. Mario and Metroid. However, although I love Metroid Zero Mission, the classic version, runs slow on the GBA :(

I'm not saying they can't. Example:

SEGA has Sonic the Hedgehog 2 available as a secret on Sonic Adventure 2. SEGA doesn't include Sonic the Hedghog 2 in a "classic" re-edition because it's available in Sonic Adventure 2, yet DOES print Sonic the Hedgehog AND Sonic the Hedgehog 3 (as well as Knuckles, etc). It just doesn't make sense to not include it.

castlevania is the greatest game of all time. I wont get the gba version for $20 since i got the Nes version (complete) for $6 shipped not long ago, but if i see it cheap i might pick up the gba version.

This isn't some "all inclusive collection" it is simply Nintendo ripping off all the ignorant GBA owners. But I guess if it sells, more power to them. I sure as hell won't owning any of these re-hashes this time around.

I'm not saying the game will suck, but since a lot of people only are able to play their GBAs in short bursts, it will be frustrating not to have a save feature or at least a password. This game is frustrating enough as it is. Back when it was out for NES you only thre your controller, now you are going to throw a $100 piece of equipment across the room.

damn i hate these freakin classic NES games!
Half of the games out so far are on Animal Crossing (if u can't find it use a code), was released on one of nintendos other systems, or sucks.

The only games I'm excited about are the zeldas and castlevania, and $19.99 is still kinda steep, especially since there's probably a port somewhere for half that price.

I really hope that Nintendo's smart enough to drop the MSRP on these suckers. They'd sell a ton more if they would just drop the price point to $10.

I don't think the MSRP will be dropping anytime soon. Launch titles like Mario Advance 1 still have a MSRP of $29.99

I agree that they should be $9.99 though. Or they should at least put 3 - 4 games on a cartridge, because $19.99 is way too much for these games especially since a lot of these games are available on other games already like how people mentioned Dr. Mario is on Wario Ware and Pacman from the classic NES series 1 is available on Pacman Collection which can be bought for a lot less than $19.99
Zelda 2 is must buy. I want Star-Tropics, a boy and his blob, and Final Fantasy 1 in the classic series release.
Werd on Startropics...

How about a good running version of Crystalis? The one for the GBC just didn't cut it.

and while we're at it...
WHERE THE HELL IS DUCK HUNT?!!

I'd like all the Lolo's on 1 cart. Fire N' Ice and Solomen's (sp?) Key, even though I've never played them. Back then I liked Lolo and Kickle Cubicle. I did play this one (original) GB puzzle game that I thought was a sequel to Fire N' Ice or something. But I can't remember the name of it.

How many Lolo's were there? I beat 2 of them. I thought there were 3 at the very least.
what a rip off on Dr. Mario
the same game is on wario ware micro mini game$
is this really true?
the game is included on wario ware? ive been meaning to get wario ware and i also want dr mario. is dr mario a unlockable feature in wario ware? and can u link up two players? im sure the classic version will. and also does it save your highest score which im also sure that will be included in the classic version.
Where is Kid Icarus?
I was in EB last week and they had a "coming soon" sticker on a GBA box for Kid Icarus. It was right next to Zelda 2 (love that game), Dr. Mario, and FF 1 & 2. I love these old game and man, carrying around all those cartridges and the NES system was really starting to ruin my back... thank God for portability!

Yup, its Dr Wario or something on Wario Ware for GBA but its still basically the same game. Dont need to buy both!
