4000 Microsoft Points Card

How about 2,000 points for $25 with 3 free months of Gold? You have to pay with an Amex card directly on Xbox and do a rain dance of service protection while jumping through fire-laden hoops naked to get it.

What he was trying to say is that Xbox Live has a promotion that if you buy 2000 points with an American Express Card, they will also give you 3 months free of Gold Membership.

The rest of the yadda yadda (the part that makes you WTF) means that to do that, you have to put your Credit Card's information in your xbox's account and well, there has been instances where people get their account's hacked and your credit card raped. So be careful those "free" 3 months don't cost you more than you expect. Plus doing the "rain dance of service protection" while "jumping through fire-laden hoops naked" never hurt anyone (maybe that last one has XD).

BTW, I don't know if this offer is still available.
 
Um, I don't have an American Express credit card to get that deal. I have a Wachovia Visa debit card already used on a $39.99 12-month Gold Membership offer about a month ago, straight from the Marketplace. O_O

I'm going to find a different deal on a 4000 MS Points Card. This is a must for my christmas shopping for myself.
 
I've been looking for a deal on point cards for awhile now. It seems like a year ago there was a ton of deals and I had a good stock but it seems like except for the random free ones, there aren't many actual deals on point cards this year.
 
It's possible to use an AMEX giftcard to trigger the promo...and I say it's possible not guarenteed. Also generally when you do a CC purchase promo with XBL the MS points get emailed to you during a grace period and not instantly. I did the VISA card promo, my points arrived a week or so later.
 
Almost all the good MS point deals were because of CC fraud.

Perhaps you recall six months ago on Amazon where the 4000 point MS cards were the top seller in the VG catagory? Did you ever wonder why?
CC fraudd buying and reselling them.
 
What's up with CC fraud on all of the good MS Point deals? How am I gonna find a better deal on a single 4000 MS point card, so I can get it over with?
