Microsoft Points enhance game play and entertainment on Xbox 360. Redeem them on Xbox LIVE Marketplace for exclusive game content, arcade games, themes, HD movies and TV Shows, and more. Microsoft Points can also be used to purchase music in Zune Marketplace.

Saints Row 2 is brand new and factory sealed! Saints Row 2 takes place a few years after the original. Several new upstart gangs have been able to sweep in and make their mark on Stilwater. At the same time, a multi-national conglomerate known as the Ultor Corporation has become a pivotal player in city politics, pumping millions of dollars into rebuilding the metropolis. As leader of the Saints, you'll have to do whatever it takes to protect the members of your gang from new enemies, including the Ultor Corporation and rival gangs.

The Honor Guard Wraith is a Covenant vehicle and also a special in-game item, included in the recently released Halo Wars Limited Edition. It is a more ornamental version of the standard Wraith, similar to the "Flame Decal Warthog". Only its appearance is different, as it has a paint scheme that appears similar to the Halo 2 Sangheili Honor Guard armor hence the name (Honor Guard Wraith.)

First Prize - Fallout 3 (Playstation 3)

wv8wed.jpg

This Fallout 3 game is brand new and factory sealed!

Vault 101 -- Jewel of the Wastes. For 200 years, Vault 101 has faithfully served the surviving residents of Washington DC and its environs, now known as the Capital Wasteland. Though the global atomic war of 2077 left the US all but destroyed, the residents of Vault 101 enjoy a life free from the constant stress of the outside world. Giant Insects, Raiders, Slavers, and yes, even Super Mutants are all no match for superior Vault-Tec engineering. Yet one fateful morning, you awake to find that your father has defied the Overseer and left the comfort and security afforded by Vault 101 for reasons unknown. Leaving the only home you've ever known, you emerge from the Vault into the harsh Wasteland sun to search for your father, and the truth.

Second Prize - Lost Odyssey (XBox 360)

2yns0td.jpg

The second of two epic RPG projects for Microsoft by Mistwalker, the studio founded by Square-Enix's Hironobu Sakaguchi. You play as Kaim, a man who's been sentenced to live for 1,000 years. The game's storyline takes you through Kaim's life as he lives through multiple generations, becomes a part of many families, falls in and out of love and gets into conflicts. All this is set in a world that is on the verge of a "mystical industrial revolution," where mankind has attained dark powers.

Third Prize - Halo Wars Spirit of Fire Patch + Leader Cards

Embroidered ship emblem patch. It is actually a rubber emblem of the Spirit of Fire. The 6 Leader cards show information on all six UNSC and Covenant leaders (three leaders for each faction): Captain James Cutter, Sergeant John Forge, Professor Anders, the Prophet of Regret, The Arbiter and the Brute Chieftain.

Fourth Prize - Halo Wars Genesis Graphic Novel

A graphic novel and prequel to the game, based on the first military campaign against the Covenant.

I was 80 points shy this tuesday when the guns and roses album came out for rock band. I was forced to go to the store and dump 20 bucks on 1600 points when this deal would have been perfect for me. i didnt need the extra points at the time, so now they are just sitting there and I'm out 20 bucks instead of 3 bucks.

Oh well. :(

It's not like you CAN'T use those points for a future purchase. I see what you're saying but you're not out $20.

Or you could have just bought 400 for $5 from Zune.net.

And I assuredly will, but that 17 extra bucks could have bought me a nice 12 pack now!! :)

Had no idea about that, and knowing is half the battle!

I've lowered the price to $2.49 each. Of course, some people will probably complain now that it's a not a "real" deal, since the price works out to Microsoft's price when you extend it out to their point bundle amounts.

These 200 point cards were pulled from the Live Vision bundles that Microsoft put out a couple years ago. They're not from any kind of promotion; I paid for these as part of a bundle.

Honestly, guys, I put out a nice deal on XBox Live and it sells out. And then a nice deal on Uno, and it sells out. I didn't exactly put 5 or 10 of each for sale, they both had pretty good quantity. They just sold out because people were interested in the deal and I didn't have hundreds sitting in reserve to meet all the demand.

I've got a lot of shipping and packaging to do over the weekend, as well as emailing the Uno codes. So I put up a deal that I knew wouldn't sell a ton. That way, I get everything sent out on Monday and people don't get too upset with me for not shipping quick enough, not answering their emails quickly enough, etc.

I've got a good deal planned for tomorrow. Thanks to those that support the site.

Or, you could have saved gas and bought points from amazon :p

Good info on zune.net though... thanks Socheata!

/edit/ drfrielgood, thanks for being in touch with CAGers... shows good character! :D This just makes me want to shop at your site... In addition, you've put up with other concerns too... Honestly, most other sites would just ignore us...

Hey drfrielgood, did you get my PM regarding the Paypal transaction ID# you requested? Let me know. Thanks.

This makes sense. ;-) Now I am overly hopeful for tomorrow...
The guy has proven himself time after time for the past year... What more do you guys want? For him to throw money your way/
Seriously. Except for ninja, who I see troll in topics all time, it's amazing some of the dumb shit I seen said in this thread. GDD has been advertising here for a year. If there were seriously any real problems, like people being scammed, Cheapy would not allow it. Simple as that. Do you think he wants some scam artists tied in with his site? Seriously. Use your heads...if there is anything left in them...

And I love when people use the excuse of expressing an opinion. Everyone is entitled to their opinion. If you're going to excuse someone of being a scam artist or a crook, though, you better have the proof to back it up. You don't have the right to try and ruin his business dealings on CAG, just because you don't like a deal.

Lastly, once again, 200 point codes are so fucking common, it's not even funny. I've sold a number of them on eBay, when I was flipping some of the Vision Bundles that were on clearance. To act like they are automatically tied into a promotion, that's beyond stupid.

I've sold games to gdd and he was great to deal with. His prices were more than fair considering the scraps that gamestop was offering. This 200 point deal is great for those needing 400 or 800 points and not wanting to shell out for the 1600 or 4000 points card. Pro-rata cost is the same.

He never changed the OP or said this was today's deal. He almost never posts a new deal in the middle of the night, so I doubt that this is the deal he was talking about. He either actually sold those 200 point cards or got sick of hearing people complain.

You are aware that 200 Microsoft Points for $2.49 is standard retail, right? We could get that anywhere ($5 for 400, $10 for 800, $20 for 1600, etc).

Exactly. Dr just can't win lately. The majority of the posts in this thread lately have been nothing but bitching. If you don't like the deal don't post. GameDealDaily has been good to us CAGs. The same people who complain in this thread are the ones that complain in the GoGamer Madness threads. It's ridiculous.

I honestly cannot believe someone else just posted that about the points again. Does anyone actually read a couple of posts anymore, just to maybe know what's going on?

Seriously. It amazes me how many people bitch about GDD. His relationship with CAG has been very good for both us. He makes money, and we get cheap gaming stuff. But no, let's not focus on all the good deals he has had...Killzone 2 (PAL) for like $40 during release week or Halo Wars with LE Steelbook for $40 or LBP (PAL) for $20. No, let's act like those never happened and complain about the bad deals, while also accusing him of being a scammer. Yes. Good idea.
I honestly cannot believe someone else just posted that about the points again. Does anyone actually read a couple of posts anymore, just to maybe know what's going on?
I've noticed that trend as well. No one seems to read back a couple pages or even the first post.
I've noticed that trend as well. No one seems to read back a couple pages or even the first post.
Indeed. Some threads, you obviously understand, because they get quite big, and a lot of the information gets buried. But the last page or two is full of people going, "Uh...isn't this the regular price?" Scroll and read, folks, scroll and read.

Just wanted to throw my two cents in. My first order from Game Deal Daily was just a few days ago when during Klonoa 2 for GBA. I received it a few days later in excellent condition. My only (minor) complaint was that I didn't receive an e-mail notice that it was shipped, but I probably would have known if I read this thread, so no big deal. I had a good experience, and I definitely won't hesistate to order again. Thanks Dr!

Well, I actually appreciated this deal. I had 610 points (hate those odd numbers) and now have 810 thanks to this offer and can get something for 800 points without having to get more points than I needed (well, I still have 10 left but...)

Happy for the new Amazon sale of Arcade games but MS still needs to ditch this whole point system.

I couldn't disagree more about MS points. That Amazon now sells the games and has deals is great. and I'm very happy about it. However, these deals are only great if you want the specific games that are on sale. The same applies to the good PSN sales (some of which have been very good).

Alternatively, MS points cards have spread sale/discounted prices to all games. Microsoft's marketing department subsidizes the cards so heavily for distributors that they can be had for much cheaper than face value on a fairly regular basis. Target has had them on sale almost quarterly like clockwork at 14.99. Other chains use the marketing subsidy from MS to offer the cards free with console purchases and/or to offer the 1600 point cards for $5 or $10 with preorders of games. Smaller point codes have routinely been GIVEN away as part of crossmarketing efforts.

If MS points were like the Nintendo cards and were full price almost %100 of the time, then yeah I would definitely think points were pointless and embrace the "too the nearest dollar" wallet system of the PS3. However, I think most CAGS that have been around awhile have only been paying 50 cents on the dollar for these points anyway.

SORRY to Gamedealdaily for the Off-topic post, but at least it is less irksome than all the posts bashing Dr. Frielgood. I'm looking forward to seeing what today's deal is.

Yeah, I would prefer they keep the points system, because then we have two sources of sales. We can get specific deals from Amazon, and we can still have cheap points in our account for whenever. I just got 4000 points from an eBay for $35, plus another $3.50 off in Live Cashback. And don't forget points promotions. I know a got a bunch of free points a while back from FX's Sons of Anarchy promo.

Just got home and checked everything out and it turns out the 200 point cards sold out last night. Despite some complaints, it seems like there were quite a few people interested in the deal! I'll update the OP with today's deal on the Guitar Hero World Tour USB mics.

Love Metroid, love Metroid Prime, but I hated this on my DS. Too many things going on at once. Just make an old school side scrollin' Metroid will ya!!!

Metroid Prime: Hunters is a great Quake like multiplayer game. Everything else, including the entire single player campaign, falls flat on it's face.
why is MPH still expensive X_X
The game is out-of-print, so you can't find it brand new at any B&M stores. It can be found new on Amazon and ebay, but the prices are generally about $10 higher than the price we've got the game at today.

Ordered Klonoa 2 recently and got it quick, no problems. I've had MPH on my list for a while, and I feel like this is as good a deal as I'll ever come across. And it is a deal considering its rarity now, especially new. Thanks!

Updated with today's deal on Wii Play, game disc only. I also added the details for our newest weekly giveaway. This week's grand prize is Soul Calibur IV.

I will start emailing the Uno and 200 point codes out at 5pm Eastern. I apologize for the delay, but this allows me to get as many orders mailed today before the post office closes. Anyone that ordered more than five 200 point codes will receive them through the mail in a bubble envelope.

Thanks for the orders! Between the 360 batteries, Sixaxis controllers, and all the subscription/code cards, it was a hectic week of sales!

Hey drfrielgood, I still haven't gotten my refund. Did you get the PM regarding the Paypal transaction#??

damn it - site is blocked from work. Hopefully this is still up when I get home. How much does it come out to with shipping?

~ $10 shipped. GameStop has it for $20 used, and I see a lot of completed eBay auctions for between $10 and $15 shipped. So, not a bad price.

EDIT: Doc, I just noticed the game is not $5 on your site. It's coming up $10. Might want to fix that. Hope you don't lose out on too many sales.

Just issued your refund, thanks for sending the number over!

Just sold out of Wii Play disc only at $4.95. I put up the same game, brand new, at $9.95 to replace the disc only deal. I'm in the process of emailing out the Uno and Live Points codes. Everyone should have theirs by 7pm Eastern. Thanks!
