$45 Dual-Shock 3

I don't think I'mma trust shop.allgames.com. I checked the link and it automatically "Quantity in Cart: 3". And I've never been to this site before. Somehow they manage to add 2 DS3 controllers and GT5: P.

I had 2 in the cart when I clicked the link. I think it has to do with the OP's link.

CDUniverse is $48.08 shipped. It does take PayPal.

I can't find shipping rates for the other site and don't want to sign up for the service to get them. They take Google Checkout.

CDuniverse accepts paypal and shipping is not included but its cheap. Standard is $2.99.

If you use Paypal and cancel or return it for whatever reason, they'll give you store credit instead. You'll need to e-mail customer service and ask for your money back. Kinda of a hassle but their fairly quick with the responses. This happened to me 2 months ago when I tried to order the Ps3 Hori "Dust Guard Kit 3" which was backordered and now discontinued.

Just placed an order and I wasn't charged tax. I'm pretty sure they're based out of CT so you might get hit if you live there. I live in NY.

I've been getting things shipped from LA to Atlanta first class in 3 days priority mail has been 1-2 depending how far you are from Cali. I'll have GTA on the 29th and will ship out at 5pm the 29th. IF there is anything you want that isnt in the store just let me know and I'll price it out for you.
 
Is the DS3 really worth shelling out the extra $50? I'm still on the fence over this one, so some advice would of course be appreciated.

Totally worth it. It completes the PS3. I love mine.
 
This is a really good deal, but I thought about it, and since with shipping it comes out to $48 for cduniverse (and more for shopallgames) I guess I might as well go to walmart today and buy one.

You guys have just convinced me to go buy a dualshock 3. :p Heh.

I'm giving in to the price. I'll go and buy one. I'll now have two sixaxis controllers and 1 dualshock 3.

Does Walmart have any color except black? Thanks.

For some people it is. For me it's not worth any more than $40. I have no real purpose to buy one, other than to replace the sixaxis and add rumble to the one game I have (Motorstorm). Any local multiplayer is done on my 360, which negates the reasoning for buying it as a second controller.

Meh, but not everyone owns a 360, and people who were once subject to questioning the DualShock 3 now say it was definately worth it in the end. We'll see. $50 isn't much anyway. I make that much a week and i'm 16.
