Looks like its hard drive based...which means its really outdated (4 gig flash drives (usb memory sticks) are pretty cheap nowadays)

Yes the woot site says it is flash based, but at that size it's reasonable to assume that woot made an error and it's actually hard drive based. If it's actually flash based they must be using the smallest flash chips (capacity, not physical dimensions) they could find.
