4gb Xbox 360 $179.99 at Amazon

Why hasn't MS lowered the MSRP? Are they leaving the price where it is so they can allow retailers to have sales that give the appearance of deep discounts?

Surprised to not see the 250 gb unit on discount anywhere. Seems obvious they are going toward 320 gb being the norm.

I picked up one of the consoles and a 320 gb HDD with the Lego Star Wars code for $279. Could have gotten it $5 cheaper but thought it easier just to get it all in one order from Amazon.

Microsoft likes to "add value" to its hardware , rather than lowering the price.
