So far so good. Got over 40 or 50 movies. Great job people!

I think they this has been around for awhile. I know I got The Best of Friends season 1 and the best of friends season 2 for my mom on mother's day. I think she liked them.

totally forgot about the Friends best of dvds. thanks!

and SJ41, im just diong it as a heads up to people who want cheap DVDS, thats all.

A lot of DVD's in my Wal-Mart clearance bin don't belong there... people just put DVD's in there, are you sure The Simple Life was that cheap and someone didn't just throw it in? I personally hate the show, but I see it for 19.99 or so at BB all the time.

Unfortunately I can't think of any 5.50 DVD's I remember in the clearance bin, but a lot of them are crappy, that's for sure.

Let's see, I also found these cinematic gems:

Leprechaun in the Hood
Leprechaun Back 2 the Hood

and the greatest movie of all time... Plan 9 From Outer Space!

Most of them are crappy, but once in a while, they'll get some good stuff in there, in which case you should buy it immediately, as they go fast. Some good films I've found are Vanilla Sky, Talented Mr. Ripley, Dr. T and the Women, and Brothers McMullen. Target also $5.50 racks, which, while not as wide a selection, are generally better known titles. Some I've found there are Grand Canyon, Bugsy, and tons of romantic comedies, if that's your thing.

i picked up the original batman (adam west) months ago from the bin.....otherwise everything else in there is crap.

yes it was $5.50, at least thats what the sticker said on all the copys i saw.

I've picked up 3 Ninjas, Street Fighter the movie, Mario Brothers the movie, and Batman (West) from the $6.00 DVD table at my Best Buy.

ALot of walmarts have bargion bins but i havent seen titles that good in the one at mine.Freddys got FIngered, STealing Harvard, and Simple Life saeson are the ones i have to look for this thursday when i go shopping.

There are some decent ones in there every so often... like a Wallace And Gromit one I got that had "A Grand Day Out" and "The Wrong Trousers" on it.

Trust me, Freddy Got Fingered is stupid, but funny. Its one that either you like or you hate.

the part with the horse and the elephant penis was just wrong

"daddy im a farmer!"

The best one I ever got was: FORD FAIRLANE!!!!

They have TONS though....the list can go on & on. I think they have the Nick & jessica Variety hour also
LOOK AT ME! IM A SEXY BOY! DING! DONG!
YOU CANT HURT ME! NOT WITHOUT MY...CHEESE HELMET
Oh, God! That's a classic line. I can't hear "I Gotta Be Me" without screaming that out.

i actually found two brilliant films in those cruddy bins.

ghost dog: way of the samurai

and

slam

ghost dog is a movie that you should see- dont be fooled by its name and slam is a former cannes winner starring street poet saul williams. these are both very worth 5.50

I picked up Arlington Rd. and Sour Grapes earlier this summer. I highly recommend Sour Grapes if you're a Seinfeld fan, as Larry David wrote and directed it. Despite the utterly terrible acting, I really liked it.

I love when Harland Williams breaks his lg and then the dad(Rip Torn) throws the skate board on the part where the bone is sticking out. pure classic. then Tom Green had to be sick and lick the blood off it.

I've seen it at my Wal-Mart, but they don't have anything worth 5 bucks in the bin. I did buy a Bruce Lee set type thing in that bin though. 2-3 movies I think, that and Run, Lola, Run. Other than that all I see is those Dollar Tree animated children's movies.

I know at my Wal-mart i've picked up all three Rambos. rambo 1 is the special addition. I've also picked up an interesting movie on a Lovecraftian book called the Unnameable 2 with John Rhys-davies whihc isn't too bad and which I'm trying to find number 1.

Damnit, you beat me to it. I also picked up all 3 rambos, I'd pick up Vanilla Sky if I could find it.

Me too. Half of the movies on MorbidAngel4Life's list I have never seen at my Wal-mart. Maybe recently they have added some stuff to their bins. Time to check Walmart on this 3 day weekend .

Since I was today at my K-Mart, alas nothing on clearance for agmes but I did see that they also have a section with $5.50 movies.

Actually, I saw a $4.99 section at the local K-Mart. Blair Witch 2 and Romancing the Stone kind of caught my eye, though I bought neither.

The only thing that Ive bought from the Wal Mart $5.50 bargin bin is Godzilla 2000, but people looking to start their Godzilla collections with this movie should wait until its rereleased in the five disk and seven disk Godzilla box sets, because the new double sided disk will have both subtitled and dubbed versions of the movie.

Be on the lookout for The Great White Hype. I didn't even know it was on DVD until I saw it in the bin. FUNNY fuckING MOvIE, and worth a hell of a lot more than $5.50

Last year, some people had mentioned that Dave Chappelle: Killin Them Softly was in the bin. I never saw it, but if anyone does buy all of them and hook everyone up

Dave Olson

I've gotten Godzilla, Godzilla 2000, Airheads and Popeye the Sailor Man CE 2-pack. These bins are at most of the Wal-Marts around here.

My Wal-Mart had Stealing Harvard,Godzilla 2000,Night of the living dead,Hot shots part deux and Buffy the vampire slayer(The movie) but I didn't buy any of 'em.
