$5 GBA Videos at EBgames

No one posted a confirmation for this so I'll do it - the prices are good in store as well. I got two of them Friday. The EB manager running the store had no idea, and was shocked they came up at $5. He was in the middle of telling me that the web site prices aren't reflected in store when he scanned the first one and found out :D.

as soon as I got home with it, my 2-year old took the Gameboy and held onto it for about an hour watching the one Spongebob episode on the Nicktoons collection over and over again. He figured out how to replay it pretty quickly. He doesn't even like Spongebob that much - I think he thought he was playing a game for a while...

I don't mind letting him beat on the GBA SP now that I have a DS and PSP. Suddenly the GBA has become "expendable" :D. So I thought the videos would be good for car trips - but I sure as hell ain't paying more than $5 for them.
 
Come on, hit $2, ya dang things...heh.

I might grab the CN Collection or some Fairly Oddparents (that show is awesome). Thanks, Cheapy. :D
 
Thanks Cheapy, I just bought two of them. $5 is a great price for them new and especially since they are good as gifts for the younger kids. A while ago I ordered one of the used pokemon videos and brought it to one of my college classes during the last week of lecture (I had a teacher who still insisted on lecturing even though the class was basically completed. It wasn't like that for my other courses, but it was rather fun watching the video with my group project members the last day).

Each one has a detailed description on the product page. But the short answer is, they mostly seem to be about 45 minutes.
 
I got one of the Nicktoon vol. 1 B&M saves a bit . . . no need to include a junk game to save on shipping and avoided sales tax.

I had them check the Spongebob collection . . . no luck.

Anyway, this is cool for $5 and I will keep it in reserve for a car trip . . . my kids will suck it up.
