This may belong in the "referals" thread but I don't think it's the same thing as most of those free iPod and pyramid schemes. If it's in the wrong place, then I'll delete it an repost.
Anyway, Half.com has a $5 off $10 referral promotion that works like this:
1) Established user goes to http://cart.half.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?TakeFivehttp://cart.half.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?TakeFive
2) Puts in the e-mail address of someone who isn't a registered user
3) That e-mail address gets a $5 off $10 coupon
4) The established user gets a $5 coupon when their "friend" makes a purchase
If anybody finds a deal that they want $5 off, leave your e-mail on this thread and I'll refer you. Then, we can spread the love by having you refer the next guy on the thread.
