If PA did it once, they can probably be motivated to do it again. And that thread garnered a hell of a lot of interest unless I'm mistaken so it must've been of some benefit to PA to have a coupon like this out there.

Hey all, just a quick question. I'm looking to buy Jump Ultimate Stars from Play-Asia. First time buying a game there though, so I'm a newb at this. The games price is $48.90, but I think that's without shipping. When you add the shipping it breaks 50 bucks, so I'm wondering if that means I can use one of these $5 off $50 purchase coupons that I've been reading so much about. If I can, I'd appreciate if someone could PM me a code, just so I know it'll work. If not I guess I'm SOL. Can't say I didn't try. Thanks again :D

You clearly don't understand how rare it is to be able to save money on an import.
 
How is the speed of Play-Asia, in CAG's experience? I ordered something that had a wait time of one week to get in stock, yet it's been two weeks and it still says preparing. Also, I asked them a question two days ago, and they've yet to respond, even though they clearly state they make sure to never exceed 24hrs. Is it the Amazon effect, where it takes a week or two to process your order?

Play-Asia's always been really fast for me when it comes to getting stuff shipped... I don't think it's ever taken more than a day... hell, it's usually the same day if I order something at the right time. The actual shipping process takes a little more than a week with the shitty shipping option.

I ordered Bleach Heat the Soul 3 for psp and it also said that it would ship after a week. Sure enough, 6 days later my order shipped. Mercifully, I think that Bleach is fairly popular which may explain the speed in which it was restocked. Was the game you purchased obscure by any chance?

Of course it's entirely possible that Play asia dropped the ball on your order but lets hope your issue gets resolved.
 
Well, it was Super Robot Wars Alpha 3. I messaged them and they apologized, saying they just got it in. So they shipped it out, and I suppose I was just unlucky this time.
 
Yea that sounds odd with Play-Asia, most of my experiences with them have been positive. They've always repsonded within 24 hrs and usually when I get a notification saying it'll ship by a certain date, it ships out a couple days before or even the day after I ordered!. They've messed up on only one order, which was a poster I was supposed to receive with my order of the KOF Maximum Impact 2 LE. I'll never know, though, if it was lost in shipping, or if they forgot to send it out at all :(

I contacted them and they told me that sometimes things get mixed up, or problems occur in shipping, that it'll take up to months until the poster arrives. That was about a year ago...

*Goes off to contact Play-Asia in hopes of some reconcilement :O*
 
Does anyone know if Play-Asia seperates orders? If I order something that ships in 24 hours and something that says ships in 1-2 weeks, will the order ship together when all items are in stock or will they split it?

Will ship together.

I ordered Bleach 3 (psp) and it was 1-2 weeks status, and my Hori DS Hard Pouch was 24 hours status. They shipped it together.
