$5 off any Direct2drive Order $15 or More

Worked for Romance of the Three Kingdoms XI. Very difficult to find that cheap, moreso on PC since it's download only in the US.

After getting KOTOR this morning, I decided to go back for Time Gentelmen Please/Ben There Dan That & Defense Grid Map Pack 1 for 94¢.

Hey guys just a heads up, Bionic Commando: Rearmed is $4.95 after the coupon, that is the lowest price I think it has been historically (Even cheaper than the steam sale?) http://www.direct2drive.com/1/6521/product/Buy-Bionic-Commando-Rearmed-Download
I figured it would be worthwhile to post and I don't think it needed another thread for it so I'd just post it here for you guys.

I almost forgot, the newly released Blacklight:Tango Down is $9.99 after coupon as well, not bad for this multiplayer shooter. http://www.direct2drive.com/9654/product/Buy-Blacklight:-Tango-Down-Download

Picked up Monkey Island 2: LeChuck's Revenge and guess what? It loads for a second and stops responding. Anybody else have this problem or know how to solve it?

got Painkiller and defense grid map pack 1 for a total of 95 cents. Not sure if i want anything else though, maybe if KOTOR were a bit cheaper.
Looks like it's a one time thing if you have anything more than one thing in your cart. I got the Dr. Who eps with a DG map with my first purchase but now can buy only thing at a time. The coupon still works though if that one thing is over $5 though.
Don't know if I did anything special, but I just got DG 1/2 & Dr. Who in one order, then 3/4 & Kino One (DRM-free shmup - I'll wait to snag DV:Zero with Steam achievements) in another order.

Total: $4.16
Painkiller for 95 cents? Wait, is that the original version, or is it the edition with the 10 extra levels?
probably original version, atleast it doesn't specify.

It's too bad you can't get two items more than once with this. I grabbed one of the DG map packs and a an interesting puzzle game this morning and star wolves 3 for 2.50 last night. Glad I waited during the last sale. I should be able to get more than 2.50's worth of fun before the bigger annoyances set in and/or I wander off to play something else. (SC2 )

Thanks OP

FYI, you can use the code multiple times; however, you can only make 3 purchases per day. I suspect this translates to 3 games per day because for my third purchase I attempted to purchase two games but I received the 'too many items' error some CAGers mentioned. When I removed one of the games it allowed me to make my third purchase; afterward I could not make any additional purchases.

Thank you for the code OP!

Hey thanks for the tip! Now to get another DG map pack.

Thanks Op, not sure if there's anything I'm going to get though. I'd definately pick up KOTOR for that price, but I think I'd rather try for a steam sale some time in the future. It's just more convenient.

Btw, for those looking for a good game I noticed Beyond Good & Evil is $10 on D2D. Haven't played it yet (got it backlogged with a bunch of other PS2 games) but I've heard good things.

I don't know why, but the coupon refuses to work on the FEAR collection for me. I am out of the country, so I thought that might have something to do with it, but I added Bioshock 2 to my cart as an experiment and it gave me the coupon. I removed Bioshock and it took the coupon away again. I tried adding something else to put the price over $10 and it still doesn't work. I read earlier on that someone got it to work for FEAR. It didn't give me the coupon for Star Wolves either... Any ideas?

From my experience D2D only lets you use the coupon twice, after that, there's an error about 3 item limit no matter what. What I did was use the code on my account twice, then I made a new account and bought a "gift" for my account with the code. Hope this helps.
keep in mind it's also coming to XBL w/ rumored multiplayer support.
I got PvZ when I pre-ordered it awhile back for $9.99 and gifted my sister when it was on sale for like $2.50? or something. Anyway awesome game, love it but I don't see how it would play on the xbox? Unless they get some good controller support in, but still I feel like it'd be slow. Grabbing sun, planting plants... on iphone it's not bad thanks to touch.

I haven't used the coupon at all yet. I just put the other stuff in the cart to test it. I just tried again and it didn't work. I may just have to chock it up to studying abroad for a summer and hope for a Steam sale...

I got 3 games with it, all on separate orders on the same day, and it worked without a hitch every time...not sure why it's not for some.

It seems to either be glitchy or has changed/expired since yesterday. I put a $4.95 game and a map pack in my cart last night to try it, and the coupon worked fine...but I, of course, procrastinated on ordering. I went back tonight and received a "Your coupon or discount is not valid for the product in your cart" error. I tried different combinations, including adding $9.95 games to my cart just to see, and I got the same error every time.

Code is still valid, but now it seems that your cart has to be at least $19.95 pre-discount for it to work.

[edit: $15.00 as below. $14.95 games will still need the boost of a DefGrid pack.]

FYI, I asked support and verified that code does still work:

Thank you for contacting us and I'm sorry for any delay in our response.

We're sorry to hear that you're having trouble purchasing from Direct2Drive. The coupon code, "ThanksRaynor" is eligible for use with purchases over $15. We're sorry for any inconvenience this has caused.
