From the same guy who brought you the original $5 off, no minimum coupon for BestBuy, here is the $5 off, no minimum coupon for GameCube games at ToysRUs....

It'll make all the recent clearance games, like Odama and Chibi Robo, a mere $5... and you may very well be able to get the $5 games for free. Coupon expires 1/31/07, so use it soon for the clearance games.

I got it on a little mailing from Nintendo/ToysRUs hyping up the Cube version of Twilight Princess--happy to scan the whole thing if need be, but trust me as an ancient poster, the coupon is legit.

Can somebody make one of those six card sheets like the one made for bestbuy? Also, i have some recommendations:

It gets kind of blurry on the bottom right, and that is where the barcode is....

I might have to try it though, even if it says no copies. The BB one worked for my friend.

I wasn't wondering about it being legit I was just wondering where to look for it in case they wont take the print out of the coupon.
 
How big does the coupon measure? (the scanning dot-per-inch setting if you remember)? Is the back of the original coupon blank/white?
 
Hmmm.. did anybody have to use one coupon per game, or only a single coupon for multiple purchases?

Damn do I miss that old coupon with the green tag games.. those were the days :) That thing earned alot of people free 360's with EB trade in promo.

I just came back from TRU with Battalion Wars and Odama for $5 a pop, $10 total (+tax).

I only gave the girl one printed coupon, and I believe she only scanned it once (the computer must have automatically applied the coupon twice). She asked no questions about it being printed.

The barcode still scans FYI, but I suppose the blurriness in the corner doesn't help the "no copies" limitation.

Methinks I'll print off 3 or 4 of these, and make a few trips there while I'm in town during the next couple weeks. I know my Toys R Us has 5-6 copies of Odama, and Chibi Robo as well. There were also 3 copies Sonic Adventure DX on clearance for $10.96, and I think they also had Battalion Wars. If I could get those 4 games for a total of $21 I might pee my pants.
 
I'm pissed I forgot the stupid thing when I went to price adjust the 10 dollar games this morning, but I'll prolly try to adjust once more using the coupon too. here's to hoping.
 
Printed the coupon and snagged Odama for $4.98, funny thing is I've been wanting to try this game for while but $49.99 was too much for me to take a chance on it. Heck even at $29.99 or $19.99 was too much for me when I had plenty of games that are currently keeping me busy.

Heck for $4.98 I'll give it a chance, if I don't like it it's only $5 and I could prolly trade it in somewhere as fodder to get something better.

Thanks for the coupon OP, worked like a charm. I just took it up to the register and said I was on TRU's mailing list and I got this coupon emailed to me. The cashier scanned it without any problems at all. He did a double take on the price for Odama though because it was still marked at $49.99! :)
 
Don't want to sound like a noob. And I've searched this many times and haven't found what I'm looking for. Too many damn threads with coupon and print in the title/OP.

But what is the thead that gives the details on how to print a good coupon and what are these card papers people keep talking about?

how big did u guys print it? i just saved it to desktop and printed it to test it out and it came out pretty small. wondering if you guys left it this size. thanks in advance.
 
DAMN DAMN DAMN, of course I already went to TRU and bought Gun and Odama for $10. Why couldn't this be mentioned BEFORE this evening in the TRU thread :rofl:. Cross-referencing FTW! Oh well, I suppose I could head back and try to get them again with the coupon, but damn, I didn't want to go back out there again so soon.
 
Good luck getting any TRU to take it. Ever since the fake $5 off of $25 coupon, printed coupons are not to be accepted unless they are emailers.
 
Printed it out under best quality on my inkjet printer & a heavier paper and the cashier took it without question...got Chibi Robo for $5!

Picked up Odama for 4.98 last night. The coupon wouldn't scan and the cashier accused me twice of having a "fake" coupon.

Going back today to pick up Baten Kaitos and Chibi Robo
 
$5 off coupon is AWSOME. I pickup 2 copies of ODAMA and Another GC game. I used 1 coupon & it knock off $15 off. The cashier handed back and extra coupon.
 
sorry for asking this again, but i get refused every printed coupon i bring anywhere. how big are you guys printing them? i tried twice last night and it either came out huge or very small. doubt either of the sizes look right. thanks for any help.
 
I printed it 5.02 x 2.35 inches. Scanned just fine and worked like a charm. I plan to go back and try to get Odama and chibi for $5 each.
 
Was able to get Battalion Wars and Gun for $5. Also got a code for a survey on TRU.com that will give me a $3 off coupon. Plan to go back tommorow and get Odama for $2. Thanks OP!!!!
