$5 off coupon in GamePro for 1 month of Blockbuster's Game Pass

CAGiversary!
I was reading through the September (How the hell do I get magazines from 2 months in the future!?) GamePro and I found this coupon for $5 off the Blockbuster gamepass, which should make it $14.99 for the first month. Better than gamefly etc because of no delivery time, unless you live 100 miles from blockbuster. Sounds like a good waste of a Summer to me!

That's a good point, but college is about a month away for me now, and I won't have time to play a new game every day, so I guess this is a better deal for me. Plus, if you use three coupons at three different Blockbuster videos, it'll come up to $45 instead of $50.

What must I do to please you, Cheapyd!?
Blockbuster currently has a 3 month for $50 promotion going on now.
All the college kids that signed up for the 3 months one past late June or so are going to be pretty pissed off when that "valid only at store purchased from" thing rears its head.

But hey, that's what little brothers are for, right?

Thats strange. I got my Sept Gamepro (Issue 192 - MGS3 on the cover) yesterday and it had the "trade in 3 get one game for 4.99" coupon in it. I then used it to get Riddick last night. I couldn't find a game pass coupon. Froinlaven,
was your coupon on pg 51?

My coupon is on page 51. I have a subscription, so maybe it's different for the newsstand version?

Mine is a sub aslo. Oh well, it might be a different run or something (like sometimes you see different covers). There may be other differences that we do not see. Who knows. I just thought it was strange.

Do I need the coupon from the magazine to get $5 from the $19.99 Blockbuster one month game subscription? Is there a code for it? I saw Blockbuster have the one month game rental for $14.99 around May but now it is back to $19.99.

I'd take Gamefly's $21.95/month offer over Blockbuster's any way. With Gamefly, you get 2 games out at a time and you have a better selection than most of the Blockbuster stores I've seen around here, especially during the summer.
