i remember when tru had the deal for regular box. it was sweet. box with bundle software, topspin and another game, then ontop of that 2 other moregames, total of 4. then steering wheel and pedals and a 10$ giftcard. for 179.99. howcan you beat that? KMON TRU give us another hot Box deal!!! but for this one now, i think i will hold off.

coupons at toysrus do not go towards hardware. not even the 10% off with instant approval of the TRU credit card works on hardware anymore.

I bit on this and got the 360, then used the 10% off on the accessories and game I bought. . .quick charger, memory card, Gear LE total came to 125, then had them apply 50 gift card as a refund on the card making total about 60 bucks. Found a better deal at my local military BX, 399 for table top tennis and collectors edition perfect dark zero plus a 3 year warranty for 60 bucks more. I took the 360 back to toys r us and they let me keep the gift card i had used already.

That special American Express 25% off total purchase coupon worked for TRU, stacking on anything, but that was a holiday special for American Express cardholders only.

I got in on the 25% thing on American Express while it was still available. Got an XBox 360 for $300 and a PS3 60GB for $450, plus extended warranties on both (got 25% off those too). Added in a few accessories and games too since I had the discount. Very nice deal, it is unfortunate that it is no longer available.
