I've dealt with this site before and they offer great customer service and reasonable shipping rates ($2.25 for the first game + $0.99 for each additional).

They have about 20 SNES games I need, but shipping for them would be $20.07.:wall:

I guess this would be a better deal if you only wanted a few games.

Has anyone gotten their stuff yet? I was hoping to get my order to give as a gift before the end of the week. I haven't gotten a tracking number or anything though.

sheesh i didnt see this until just now. there are some decent buys on here(pirates!, lolo, really most of the nes games left are decent prices)

It sucks the saturn games arent on sale? i might have to bookmark this site in case if they ever have future sales.

No sign of the games yet, which is a bit disheartening since I ordered around a week ago or so and had the items confirmed the next day, but I'm just hoping that they're shipping via ground transport and the current problems in the NYC area is just delaying the games just by a bit.

Kapwanil, can you post here when you do receive it? I just got the e-mail that my order is ready to ship upon payment, but I'm still not 100% sure I wanna go thru with it.

Absolutely! I'll also post overall quality of what I ordered. Should be three NES games and an SNES game, if I recall.

Got my first game in from my order. It was Starfox 64. The Label Damage it had was in one corner and a little marker on the back. It's worth the $2 to me.

Did anyone else receive an email invoice? There was of course the one on screen when I completed my order, but I didn't save it. (I'd have a million files if I did that every time I purchased online.) Now I can't find any emails from them confirming my purchase, and I've checked every account I could have used...

geepgal, I'm assuming you're sending payment thru the mail, and if that's the case, you first get an e-mail confirming your order, then you'll get another one a week or two later saying that your order is ready to ship and it's okay to pay then.

I used a credit card and I got an email invoice that just said the games would ship as soon as the card was confirmed (which should have been instant). I never got anything else saying they were shipping though.

I got the same email. My debit card hasn't been charged, so I assume they haven't rounded up any of the games yet, which I would have expected them to have done by now.

My experiences with the B&M Music Recycleries in the Chicago area says that it takes a while to get the items from one store to another (they'll look through their system and ship it to the closest store to you.) My guess is that they show all stores inventories' online, and then have the B&M ship it to a central spot before shipping online orders. This is only a guess, but it could explain why it takes so long. I usually chose to have other B&M stores hold the items and drive their myself to get it, cutting out the wait time, but this doesn't make much sense if you're in California. ;)

I've had only good experiences with their B&M stores. Hard to find anime on VHS (I couldn't stand having nearly complete collections where the picture on the spine was off just a bit.) Rare Turbo Grafx and even some Atari 2600 games if you look hard enough. Usually too expensive, but I may be heading out to see if any of the stores still have stuff in stock and if it's on sale.

Wow. I ordered three games on Saturday and got them all today. Ranger X had label damage as noted on the site, Alladin was in perfect condition, and Out of this World had some stickers on it. However, Out of this World came complete! I didn't expect that. I was probably just lucky, but still... and I paid less than $10 shipped :)

Cool i have a complete Out of this owrld in my trade list.. Good game!

My order came today. I got Phantom 2040 for under two dollars and a Cobra light gun for the Saturn/PSX that was in mint condition with box. Thanks OP!

no, that's exactly the problem. i paid online, but more importantly, i haven't received any emails confirming my order!! (that's what I meant by invoice.) This is worrying...perhaps I misspelled my email address? That doesn't seem very likely.

DAMN IT.... just got the email telling me that Super Castlevania is out of stock! This is the absolute worst possible outcome of this sale for me. I'd been checking out the EB morning update for months looking for that.... finally last week it came in stock, but I blew it off because I had just ordered it from Music Recyclery. Yeah I'll get some other good stuff, but Castlevania was really the whole point of the order. Oh well. You win some, ya lose some. I'll consider it cosmic balance for my extraordinary luck with the TRU clearance this week.

I ordered Kirby's Dreamland 3 SNES a couple of days ago I have not gotten any emails from them. I wanted to pay using Paypal.

Just received my package today, amongst others. All of the titles came across very well. Vice: Project Doom and Little Nemo came across in pristine condition for NES carts, Journey to Silius was marked as LD yet the only problem was that it had a slight Sharpie mark on the front (I can easily get that out with Goo Gone, oddly enough) so no problems there, and Sky Blazer came pristine and in a moderately worn box. Fantastic!

Overall, I'm quite happy. Could not have gone better!

I got my order today:

DC:
Slave Zero
Wild Metal

SNES:
Blazeon
Run Saber

All for $18.61 shipped. Not bad at all.

The DC games both look near mint and the came fully complete (some writing on the Slave Zero case, which should be easily removed or the case replaced).

Both SNES were cart only ofcourse. Blazeon has rental sticker residue on the side (also easily removable) but the label is awesome. Run Saber has some minor damage to the label.

Thanks OP.

EDIT: my order shipped 12/22 and I got it today 12/24.

My order came today. Surprisingly, 2 of the SNES games are complete. I'll definitely order from them again. It would be nice if shipping were cheaper on big orders though.

nice! here's hoping for a complete Lufia.

They sent me the invoice for my purchase three days ago. I payed using Paypal today. I will let you know how my copy of Kirby's Dreamland 3 arrives.

OK, well my order finally arrived. I also got an email regarding an item that went out of stock, and my invoice showed at the bottom of it...maybe the spam filter ate the first email or something.

However, I am not overly pleased with the outcome. Like bustauppa, the game that started the whole order for me is the one they ran out of. Also, their concept of "light damage" is VERY fuzzy. I'd say half of the games not specified as damaged would qualify as such for me (most have missing patches in label where stickers were ripped off). The non-damaged ones were mediocre, with dirty faded labels. And the damaged ones.....well, let's just say that one was missing >2/3 of the label, and I had to use process of elimination to even figure out what it was.

I'm not anal about the condition and completeness of my games -- I just want them to be decently nice. But I know I'd never pick up any of these in person given their poor condition...and I end up feeling like the store took advantage of me for ordering sight-unseen. Don't think I'll be buying from them again.

My order came in while I was out of town.

Tetris Attack has writing all over it and the label is pretty messed up. It was also the dirtiest cart I've ever seen in my life. Howeever, after about 15 mins of cleaning it up with rubbing alcohol it worked in my SNES and it's lots of fun so I'm happy.

Duck Hunt was totally mint, though :)

Kirby's Dream Land 3 arrived in the mail today the game label is a little torn at the top but is mostly intact and in good condition the cart has no writing on it, however, the game does not work. I tried dipping q-tips in rubbing alcohol and cleaning the contacts the cart was really dity but the game still does not work. Does anyone have any tips for me on what I can do to get this game working?

This place totally sucked for me! I put my order in 12/22, payed immediately with Paypal, got my confirmation email. No word, no word, giving them the benefit of the doubt for holidays. FINALLY, I emailed them on 1/3. No response, but ok, maybe it will take them a day. I check my Paypal, and they only credited half the order TODAY!

Which means loser store didn't care if I got my order until I inquired about it. Didn't bother to send an email regarding half the order missing or call, both of which were required to place the order. I am pissed.

This is obviously such bad customer service. I'm glad some people got decent purchases, but I will be staying FAR away from this company, as they're obviously incompetent.

browneyedgal68- When I chose the Paypal payment option, I was specifically told not to send payment until they had my items ready to ship out. Since (I'm assuming) the items that are available on the website are the same ones available in store, they probably wanted to make sure everything I ordered was still available before I paid. I was sent an e-mail a week after ordering letting me know my order was ready and that I should send payment. You probably shouldn't have paid right away, though they should have notified you that there was a problem sooner.

I got 4 NES games. While they were all a little worn, they were in better shape than most of the NES carts I've ordered from EBgames.

well I originally ordered on the 14th... I got part of my order in a few days before christmas. I had ordered some games and an original sega branded dreamcast rumble pack. Well Instead of that they sent me 2 interact rumble packs, which I didnt really need, I have several already. So then nothing for a few days, then on the 30th I get an email saying they may have mistakenly shipped me a partial order and can I confirm what I had gotten shipped already? So I told them about the rumble pack and the next day I get another email saying that 2 of my games are out of stock but they are shipping the rest... I havent seen anything since, but since some people have gotten their orders today, Im hopeful that when I get home it will be there. I cant wait to play Assault Suits Leynos 2 on my Saturn! =p

I've read this whole thread, and you're the only one to really complain about them. You weren't supposed to pay immediately, as the order confirmation page states (you got it rite after placing the order), and then again in the confirmation e-mail. Reason for this is cause they have to gather everything you ordered from their different stores, so it may very well be that they sold out on some of your ordered items even before you placed the order. It's stated directly on their site and/or in the e-mail you got, so it's not their fault you don't know how to read.
I take it that LD stands for loose disk? =\
It stands for Light Damage, as in the sticker labels may be worn or someone write on the cart in marker, but the damage is purely cosmetic. I dunno if they're complete or not.

Wrong-o skippy, I paid because it said everything was in stock and gave me the option. And immediately on the site it cleared my card. Have the email printed in front of me. And I'm sorry but over 2 weeks to "get things from another store"? It says to wait up to 2 weeks for my order, and it wasn't even mailed yet.

Add to that, perhaps YOU should check your reading skills as plenty of people are saying things are not in the condition described, coming late, coming in partial orders, or in error. What, do you know the owner or something?! I'm standing behind my statement that they have horrible customer service. If they're going to be more than a B&M store and want to go into cybersales, they should be more on top of things.

That's nice. I'm glad you want to voice your opinion.

I think for the cheap ass price, no one can complain much. Though I agree with Onikage, I only wish shipping was cheaper.

So far I was very happy with my first order and I'll let you know how my second order ends up as I got an email saying it shipped today and I should get it soon.

On further inspection, there were more people dissatisfied with their purchases than I originally thought. And while I still disagree with the terrible customer service thing, I apologize for jumping down your throat earlier.

Do I know the owner? I am the owner. No, I kid; I even asked if the place was legit on the first page.

Got my second order from them.
All SNES stuff. All are cart only which was a little disappointing but all of the labels are in good condition. The carts are a little dirty but all and all it was good.

$32.99 for the following:

SNES Multitap
Lufia Fortress of Doom
Fatal Fury Special
Raiden Trad
Power Instinct

I think Lufia alone cost me $20. So the rest of the stuff for $13 isn't too bad at all.

After a less than positive first experience with MR I decided to give them another chance and bought two more SNES games from them Magical Quest and Turtles in Time for $13.71 total. Today the games arrived the carts are in perfect condition and they both work.:)

To add another customer experience, I would say that I'm happy (but not very happy with my experience). I placed an order on 12/27 for a collection of older games (3 Gameboy, 1 Dreamcast, 3 Sega Master System, 6 Genesis, 1 SNES, 3 NES).

My credit card was not charged until 1/9, and the order arrived today (1/16). Apparently they didn't have (or couldn't find) one of the Gameboy games in stock and so they didn't include it and didn't charge me for it. However, they also didn't bother to tell me this. I was expecting all of the cartrige games to come cartridge only, but was pleasantly surprised: All of the Master System games came with original boxes, 2 of those with instructions. 3 of the Genesis games came with original boxes, 2 of those with instructions. 1 of the Gameboy (!) games came with the original box (but not instructions).

So to summarize:
Cons:
Very slow to process and ship order
No communication (about order shipping, being put together, or them not having a game)

Pros:
Great price (even with shipping)
Games came in great condition

I would order from them again.

Wrong-o skippy? Hey Grandpa, quit your bitching, back in your day cheapass gaming was probably getting to be friends with the Sears-Roebuck manager.
