Ali G Show: 1st Season - $15

Thanks for the love!

A couple sets I want, but I sense a few MSRP price drops coming, and I don't have any money to spend now.

nice prices but once you got a DVD recorder and VOD (video on demand) you can make up these yourself

Oh, please. Most people's time is worth more than sitting around all day recording complete seasons in not as good quality to "save" $15 or whatever. It won't look or sound as good, you spend money on materials, and then if you ever get tired of it you can't trade or sell it. Brilliant.

Not really PIRATES....they are recording them off of HBO I would assume. Just like using a VCR. Do you consider people who use VCR's pirates?

Taping an episode here or there when you can't watch them is one thing, but recording entire seasons and buring them on DVDs?

They're only pirates if they try to make profit off of the product. Recording stuff on a VHS tape or recordable DVD is fine, just don't sell it.

Don't sound stupid calling someone a pirate that just would rather watch on a custom-made DVD a "pirate". Selling and watching is different.

For example, I have countless tapes of shows that are now DVD sets I never plan on buying full seasons of (Lucy, Dick Van Dyke, etc), does that immediately make me an illegal pirate?

Pirates DISTRIBUTE illegaly, not watch for their own purpose.

And I'm one hundred percent sure you never burnt a CD for a friend.

Yes, enough of the pirate discussion.

Can we see that these sets will eventually have an MSRP price drop, thus makign them cheaper?

I would like to pick up the first 3 seasons of Sex and the City (got the first) for my fiance, but money is tight and I already bought her enough Xmas gifts.

Is there a deal anywhere on Smallville season 1? Most places I've seen are asking more for it than they are seasons 2&3. My wife recently got interested in this one, so I wanted to pick at least the first couple seasons up for her for Christmas.
what is all this share the love talk?
Go to Amazon and find out...

It's basically a 10% off discount

I buy something for $20 and share the love with you. You get $2 off of the SAME DVD I bought.

Then, I get $2 credit to use on future purchases. It's a win-win for everyone.

You can send 10% off offer to people after you purchase certain items at Amazon. If they buy it within a week of you they save 10%.

CRAP! I just lost the share the love window for Ali G. If you don't do it immediately after checkout, is there a way to get back to it?

I did NOT sign up for the card.....I keep hearing the more cards you have, the worse credit you are likely to have....although, not sure how true that is. I don't need another card anyways....

I still may get a few more box-sets....I have a bunch of Share The Love offers in my account, I can get Sex & City S2 or S3 for $22.xx.....I already bought the 1st one for $17.99

Also, Ali G is only $13.xx with STL....tempted to buy that, but I already rented it.

I think I'm gonna order Sex and the City Seasons 1-6...the big one, It's 154.95...Would be the big gift for my fiance this year...I'm contemplating it...I will post back in a minute if I do to share the love

Are you trolling are are you actually that ignorant?

As established by "the Betamax case", recording TV content for personal use is legal.

Not to mention the fact he pays for cable access, including whatever channel he's recording it from.

Next you'll say I'm a "pirate" for remembering the show but not the commercials.

Nice job! if you don't like somebody, compare them to murderers, rapists and thieves (which is what the pirates were).

Nice, as this was (or so it appeared) successfully dropped several days ago. I admire the irony in your accusations of trolling.

Thank you for clarifying what traditional pirates were. I don't see the relevance, but it's a nice reminder to those of us who may have forgotten.
