Stores will be setting up "dump bins" for these titles, and from what I understand so far, they won't be marked as the 50% off price, but will ring up as half off the price on the sticker.

This deal works online! If you do "Pick Up @ Store," you will get the discounted price when you pick up the game.

And just for reference, since I'm not sure how well-known these acronyms are... KNR = Kinect Required, MVR = Move Required, MVC = Move Compatible, MP = Motion Plus.

I hated it. Was interested when it first came out. Picked it up for like $5 new ages ago played it, beat it, and traded it to Target when they had that insane 2 games for $20 off promo. One of the worst games I played. Of course everyone is different.
 
Has anyone played Call of Juarez? I'm thinking of getting it but I already have too many games to play and I just bought RedDeadRedemption GOTY from BB for $15 (so idk if Call of Juarez is necessary). But for that price ($5) is it worth playing?

Well CoJ: Bound in Blood is considered the best of the 3 CoJ games (I think the metacritic is a 78). It is also a FPS game so it will feel different than RDR. I have the game but not played it so I cannot give a first hand opinion on the game. I would say $5 is a great price for it though if you have the time to play it.
 
Feel like I should chime in and say how awesome Stranglehold is, especially for that price. It is like Max Payne on steroids.
 
Ended up getting only Resistance 2 and Rockband 2 for $5.88. Bonus was that R2 was one of the dual pack copies, so I actually got a code with a ton of free DLC\\:D/ it was supposed to expire last year, but somehow still worked
 
Thanks! Picked up 5 games for $10, 2 I didn't have and 3 for boosting & better cases for games that came with broken/marred cases. I'll check a third GS for some others I'm interested in that the others didn't have.

picked up deus ex and the guy gave me the augmented edition one. obviously this wont happen for anyone else,
they mustve had one sitting around pre-owned that someone traded in. bought it to play it but kinda want to
sell it now and buy another.
 
The install size of some of these games on the 360 are pretty funny. When a disk game comes in at less than 3 Gb you know the chance of suckage goes way up. The Kengo game is 1.9 Gb.

Edit: I guess the exception to that statement must be Earth Defense Force 2017 because it is only 1.7 Gb :)

On another note, stacking the 15free + PUR + CAG16 + B2G1 on wii/ds games last week came out to great effect. I got Pokemon Platinum, Pokemon White, and Fire Emblem Shadow Dragon for 38.xx.

The Good: Fire Emblem actually came complete so stoked on that. Also Pokemon White was actually new lol. I guess maybe they did conversion recently? so got lucky there too.

The Bad: Pokemon Platinum was actually a bootleg. gonna be interesting trying to swap that out for a real one in-store...
 
just picked up Akai Katana for $5 and some change after discounts, man I haven't enjoyed a shootemup in a while, this one is great!
 
Is Akai Katana worth it if shmups aren't normally my thing? I enjoyed Deathsmiles, but other than that I hardly touch the genre. I saw a complete copy at one of my stores today that I'm having second thoughts about passing on.

It isn't that bad... It's playable. It can be annoying as shit tho, but it is definitely playable. It was worth the $5 I paid for it at the Microsoft sale last year.

I still have it, I don't hate it as much as i probably should, but the annoying issues(the limbs being blown off) really does get tedious and annoying after a while.

I don't know what is up with their stock of Pokemon Platinum. I ordered it a few weeks ago and got a Spanish version (Pokemon Platino!)
 
Im gonna return Socom:Confrontation and Qubed (i have no clue what to do in REZ HD or E4) and socom was just terrible. Im gonna see if i find a copy of MLB The Show 2011 and Lair.

I'm sure if I gave Rez a bit more time I can get into it but E4 was just confusing and I got used to playing Lumines on a PSP so when I tried it on the TV it just made my eyes hurt. I rather just take it back and get MLB 2011 at least I'll play that.

I don't find it to be shamful returning a game. If I didn't like a game I always go back and return it and pick out something else. And sure some games can be crap to some people and some might find them to be fun. For example I thought Dark Void was a pretty fun game meanwhile everyone thinks it's crap.

well we hear these games are turds but its kinda fun to see if its true or not. the return policy makes this alot easier to do as well
 
Picked up Resistance 2, Star Wars Force Unleashed, and Brutal Legend. As well as an additional copy of MAG for the case. :lol:

Turns out the Gamestop had plenty of stock in what I picked, namely because the Clerk opened up a few drawers and I saw a few rows of them. I thought the store was out of Resistance, but then I saw it in the drawer and asked for it.

I'll probably make another trip there later this month. Still waiting for Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus to arrive at the store. :(

I just want to add that Pure Futbol is a very fun arcadey soccer game and it has a pretty good career mode as well.

He's what I did, I bought online for the 75% off and then combed through some stores for complete cases/manuals for me to buy as an insurance policy and then prepare to return all games received from my online order back to the store in their generic cases while being refunded the more expensive store price.

I can't be the only one...
 
Yeah got all mine today in crazy fast time too but all need to be returned as well. Wrong game, cracked and splitting discs, redbox sticker, horrible resurfacing and not a single game had it's original case and artwork. The 50 percent off the 50 percent off was not worth it! Should have just spent the extra cash and got exactly what I wanted in-store while my local store still had most of the titles in stock.
