50% off USED games at blockbuster YMMV

I went to little ceasars yesterday and walked passed blockbuster and they have a HUGE sign in the front of the store that says 50% off used games . The weird thing is that they werent advertising outside of the store ( there werent any signs or banners on the windows ) . So if you go by a Blockbuster in your area peek through the door and check it out . I didnt pick up anything except Motorstorm pacific Rift for $11.XX

Holy crap. I'll definitely stop in as soon as I can- Blockbuster's used game prices sometimes top even GS and GC's used prices. :D Thanks a bunch, OP!
 
Hey guys, don't go too much out of your way for this. Blockbuster has 2 types of stores; one is corporate and the other is franchise. If this is a franchise store, the sale may be just at this particular store. I was in a corporate Blockbuster yesterday and there were no signs for the sale.
 
Same here. I went yesterday arround 7 p.m. to the nearby Blockbuster, but not sale signs have been displayed and I even asked for any used game sales, but the answer was NO. So it looks like is YMMV.

The Blockbuster near my house is next to a Little Sleazers, too.
 
on a side note if your blockbuster is by a little ceasers i think they are having a special tomorrow only for $4 large pies....
 
I was at a blockbuster on Sunday and no such thing, however Blockbuster's prices on used games are really good and in my area a lot of stores are excellent about giving a case with artwork and a manual. The game I bought was 9.99 at blockbuster used, and 17.99 at GS.
 
went by my local blockbuster...nothing....hmmm
I wonder what qualifies a blockbuster as a franchise store and how you determine if it's a corparte store or not...I called around...ppl dont seem to know.
 
Well, no luck for me, either, and I'm in the same state as the OP (though still 7 hours away... >_>; ). I DID find Pokemon MD: Explorers of Darkness for $6.99, Fire Emblem for DS for $9.99, and a bunch of other $9.99 games at my BB, though.
 
Nothing here in Lees Summit & 23rd Street Independence of Missouri. End up picked up Overlord (DS) $5 and Final Fantasy: Echoes of Time (DS) $10.
 
Hey op, and other guy who has little ceasars near your BBV, is there also a rite aid, pavillions, star bucks, subway, fresh and easy, ross, el pollo loco, pizza hut, churches chicken nearby? Just wondering lmao cause this kinda sounds like mine. Lakewood CA
 
The only way I think has something do with the receipt(out of the loop when it comes to bbv). However, the employees should probably know also.
