512MB=$62 & [1GB=$95 dead] - Memory Stick PRO Duo Media at Dell...

K, someone tell me how I can get some free shipping or no tax here.. I currently have 100 dollars on the debit card, and it says the total comes to 110.. anyone know any coupon codes or anything like that?
 
There is supposed to be free shipping for everyone ordering a Memory stick from dell, as it is an accessory. Dell has a promo going on that offers free 3-5 day shipping on all orders over $49 on accessories.

If you e-mail the customer support about it, they might be able to add freeshipping to your order
 
as i mentioned, i got free shipping by doing it over the phone (still over 100 though for the dude with the short balance)

I just called and ordered one. Tell them you want to order Dell part #A0466794 and that it is for $95.19 on sale. Also, be aware this sale ends on April 13th (this Wednesday). Shipping is now occuring April 25th, provided you order today (would be 2 weeks, but business day stuffs gets in the way.)
 
No go. The 1GB is done. I tried to order it using the part number offered above, and the rep told me that the item is no longer active in their system. He did try to sell me the SanDisk one for $136, but I declined. There you go. The 1GB deal is truly dead.

The first guy I spoke to tried to tell me that it didn't exist too. Then I went and talked to a guy in support chat and he assured me it was still 95.19 and gave me this link:

(This only shows in the all results tab, you might have to re-search for the part # to actually get it to work, I had troubles seeing it at first, but it should show up in the all results tab.)

That was on the site still in that manner despite the fact you couldn't buy it online. I took the part number down from there anyways and went and proceeded to call up a second time as instructed, got a lady, and after a couple of minutes, she found it and I had ordered one for myself.

The moral of the story is if you don't succeed, try, try again.

so you ordered one tonight by calling them up? im going to have the old gf call tomorrow since she said shed buy this jawn for my bday which was over a week ago now. damn her.

I am so tempted to get a 512 now... but... gahh! i have fear of pricdrops/rebates in the near future... oh well... I live in further agony...

No email from Dell about my order yet. Not going to cancel either if it's delayed. Still a good price and I'm already busy trying to play all the games I got for the PSP.
 
Man, it's wierd how they keep throwing random dates for next possible ship at us. Here I was supposedly having my ship date on the 25th of april, and i'm told mine won't ship until May 17th, and I see some people with the same original ship date as me who are quoted April 29th and May 2nd.

Do they even know what the heck they're doing? It kinda sucks that I am told it will be a month when others are told the delay is only a matter of a week.

Ugh, mine got bumped all the way back to 5/17/05 I'm thinking of just canceling the order right now. Anyone here already cancel? Or is everyone just waiting patiently?
