$7.99 Klonoa (Nintendo Wii) @ Best Buy (YMMV?)

Like the title says.

Klonoa for the Nintendo Wii is $7.99 @ Best Buy if you can find it. You can probably apply the 10% coupon to it and knock off the sales tax.

It's a charming little title. Might be too cutesy for some, but it's a solid 2D platformer. This should hopefully convince more people to go back and find Klonoa 2 on PS2 (a better game but not a better story).

Played through this in a few sittings; loved it. (Got it at BB a few months ago for $10.) Recommended it to anybody who loves Kirby.
 
Price was down to $5.99 at a local Best Buy. The price marker listed at at $7.99 but it scanned for $5.99.
 
Wow, I was just playing this with my daughter today! I had a blast reliving the fun I had with the original (and the GBA version is aces, too). Definitely snab this if you want a fun, lighthearted platformer with some clever level design. I'm glad Namco didn't tamper with the original formula much (if at all); it's still fun, breezy and charming all these years later.

This is a great remake of one of my favorite games. Anyone who finds this for this price should definitely pick it up.

Saw it on the regular shelf, but each Best Buy is different.

Thanks OP found it my local BB, was only $5.99 but was marked $19.99, so it seems less likely YMMV and more like a price drop in the system but you just have to find a store with it. the SKU is actually 9286676 , someone posted another SKU but it did not come up and this was the one I found on the reciept. Good deal thanks again. Good luck everyone. Also here is a stock checker.

It's a good game but I'd hardly call it one of the best I've played this gen. It's a traditional 2-D platformer that sort of has a Mario 2 vibe to it (esp. given the whole pick up and throw mechanic). That said, the voice acting is still cringe worthy at times and the overly bright color scheme might be enough to turn away some gamers who've gotten accustomed to the likes of Batman AA, Gears of War, and Splinter Cell.

I find that it gets harder and harder to come back to these kinds of games after playing the others on my 360. I've got Mario Galaxy in the pipeline so I hope that one does more to keep my interest.

Thanks! I wish I had seen that before going out to the mall. Entei could've waited thanks to this nasty ice and snow we're getting. No Klonoa but oh well. :whistle2:/

Just a reminder that the store stock checker is not 100% accurate. In the past I've found stuff at a local Best Buy that the stock checker listed as OOS.

About a month ago I tried to order two games with a site-to-store delivery for a sudden kid b-day party--I wanted to use a $10 rewards perk I had--and the site said they had no local copies, so instead I had to hunt them down at 2 diff Gamestop and buy 2 GS-opened-as-new copies.

I ended up at BB later that weekend, and they had both of the items in stock. It was pretty exasperating to see them sitting on the shelf, mocking me.
 
Thanks OP! I found one on the regular shelves. The sticker said $29.99, but the plastic board behind it said that it was on clearance for $7.99. It was also $7.99 at the checkout (I was really hoping for $5.99!)
