Currently 7-Eleven is having a Guitar Hero Promotion to promote their new "Full Throttle" flavor. The contest requires contestants to collect codes off of SLURPEE cups and enter them for a chance to win various prizes including Guitar Hero: Aerosmith. For those of you unfortunate like myself without a 7-Eleven near by you can enter once daily with the code SLURPEE. On my first attempt I already won Xbox LIVE points; will update with points amount once confirmation email is received. Basically you enter your code and you have 3 scratch off icons you scratch with a guitar pick. If all 3 icons say win, you guessed it, you win. Funny thing is I stumbled upon this in one of the Yahoo browser advertisements. Normally I wouldn't click on it, but Slurpees are by far my favorite beverage. I miss living in Texas and can't wait until I'm back so I can reignite my addiction :evil:. Didn't win this time... but the free slurpee coupon actually isn't too bad either. I'll keep trying and hopefully at least get some points out of it eventually. Thanks OP.
 
Funny thing is, I haven't had a Slurpee in probably 5 years. And there's a 7-11 only 2 blocks from my house.

I'll be drinking a lot this month, now, though!:D
 
Thanks OP! But what Im wondering is can you enter twice per day? Cause it says you can enter once through either method of entering the free code or entering an actual code on the side of a cup.

Shame there isn't a 7-11 near me, I'd definitely use the coupon, although they're cheap to start with. I'd take a slurpee over a frappachino for 3 times the price any day.
 
Didn't win anything but a Buy 1 Get 1 free Slurpee but I will try again tomorrow. Funny thing is that a 7-11 just open last month a block away from my house. I havent been there yet but I'll stop by after work today and see if they are doing this promotion.
 
I live in generic rural town # 47. I don't have a 7-11, gamestop, ebgames, bestbuy, k-mart, etc, etc, but it's ridiculously easy to find game stuff that's suppose to be "sold out" every where. I'll take a chance with this.

I got a winner, but did not read the official rules first. I entered with 4 different emails and won on the 4th one, but the official rules say that they will disqualify people that do that. Oops... :(
 
wow i just came back from 7-11 where is the code? i dont see it on my cup or is it on specific cups? anyways i got the full throttle frozen blast and its not bad lol.
 
This is a great promotion. Slurpee usually does something every month as a contest like this.

I won 2 Wii's from 7-11 back when it first came out. Keep it up 7-11!

You can do the +1+2 etc. thing from twister, but points are MAILED to you, not emailed/on page so its kind of a waste, especially since only 1 game per hour.
 
WTF? Points are mailed to you? 400 points costs $5, I can't imagine why they would want to add unnecessary postage so something that isn't even that expensive.
