There are 50 TRU stores that have now marked the green tag items to 70% off(only 50 stores have done this, thats why its YMMV). If this proves popular and increases sales, it may become a storewide deal. The stores are all over the place, so I don't have an exact list, but if you're at a TRU that is doing it, they should have signs all over the place advertising the new sale. Also, there was a problem with the promotion today, so it would give you 70% off then an additional 50% off(both promos were active). This should be fixed tomorrow, but it may take them a little longer to get it perfect.

Any idea when this ends? I would really like to try out Winning Eleven 7 since it'll be 70% off. However, I can't go to TRU until Saturday at the earliest.

WE7 is full? When the sale started it was half off. Maybe they took it off. I'll use the scanner on Saturday to check it out I guess. I heard this was a great game too...

Closest Toys R Us around me that has the 70% off deal is 5654 - MONTEBELLO, CA and im not about to drive 20 min to pick up some price bin games. Maybe for better titles, but not for the ones lefted.

already went to adelphi & laurel, MD. .nothing. . . .their shelves looked like Taz came through there looking for some treats

I was wondering about Morrowind. I just got an Xbox and I don't know...is it any good? Any positive reviews? I can't get it for $5, but it's 20 at most places so...I don't know, I might find a good deal on it.
 
Morrowind is outstanding in my opinion. Spent more hours that I would like to admit playing it and I probably saw 20%-35% of the entire world.
 
Well, looks like I didn't get to the TRU (Dekalb) in time - Cima was gone...90% of the bin was gone for that matter. They also consolidated two bins into one larger one.

For anyone that's interested TRU is giving a $10 gift card for your next purchase if you spend $75 or more this week (only) - can't be used for prior purchases (like the B2G1 Free deal last week). And also along that price of $75, you can a 3 Ft (?) plush doll of Shrek or Donkey for $5 (reg priced at $20).

They were training new employees today and there seemed a lot of people applying - I didn't mind the wait since I was able to get my price adjustments.

So what's the deal with having this upgraded sale at certain locations? I notice the ones that are still 50% and not 70% are the larger, perhaps more frequented ones. Are they just trying to clear out old stock, or as some have suggested is this more imminent of something else?

theres a GBA bin near the Kiosks (near the game pickups). did u check there? maybe its gone. i wonder what happened to the N64 bin. i was going to get mickey's speedway.

Yup, there was only 3 or so copies of a single $40 game in that bin next to the bin with all the GBA hand grips. I haven't seen the N64 bin in awhile - they just have emptly clear plastic cases in shopping carts now.

And yes, price adjustments should be no problem as long as you bought it from that store. The nice thing about today was they gave me no problems with items I purchased a month ago (but within the 45 day return period).

many stores are hiring at this time and doing training because Black Friday is coming up. They need to be ready and all. i hope the DS is going to have a good deal.

I've never played it myself, but I've heard that Morrowind is an outstanding game. The only thing that harms the gameplay is the slowdown...

i went to the customer service, the lady said they wont do price adjustments for 50% to 70% off.
 
Do you remember who you spoke with? Some CS reps can be pretty nasty. I spoke to Bridgette/Jessica - If they've changed their policy midway then you may be out of luck. Otherwise come back another day when one of them is at the desk.

There was one CS woman who I thought was friendly enough, but flat out lied to me and kept insisting it was my fault.

I was able to get some cheapy PS1 games. They didn't do a good job with the tickets. Found a few I wanted to get, but they didn't have it in stock, so I ended up not getting any of those.
 
hey sm04as, i saw one tubeslider for GC. i wonder if its worth the 5.99? what game systems do u have? i saw 1 left of gta2 for ps1 about $4.50. i wonder what happened to all those GC games i saw. i checked the gba bin. its so empty now. i only saw like 3 space invaders left.
