9.99 Circuit City Games (xBox, PS2)

Stopped in Circuit City in Millville, NJ today to pick up some blank CDs and decided to browse around their Video Game section while I was there, since I just got paid today.

They had a rack of 9.99 Games...I think all for the xBox and PS2.

I picked up Rainbow Six 3 for xBox. Thought it looked decent for $10.

I saw a couple other games that I'd remember if I heard the name, but the only one I can recall off the top of my head was Metal Gear Solid 3 for PS2.

They also had some 14.99 and under games. Nothing spectacular. That All-Pro Football game was in there or w/e its called...the one that was so hyped up.

Maybe someone else can name a few more games...but if you've got a CC, its worth checking out...I think this just started today.

They're "cool deal games." They're always those prices, and sometimes 25% off for weekly specials. Not a deal.

The 14.99 games had a sign up above them dated 1/4/08. Seemed to be some sort of a deal.

The 9.99 games I wasn't so sure of.

Excuse me. I'll refrain from ever posting a "deal" again. The way it was advertised at CC made it seem like it wasn't a regular price there.

I've noticed that posters are a lot snippier now about what deals are posted than when I first began posting here. It's unfortunate because it's getting a little more fat wallet-like the more popular this place gets.

I agree on both counts, thank you for posting this. For everyone who was picking the OP apart, how bout posting deals of your own or making other positive contributions, rather than being jackasses?

I saw the games the OP mentioned in a new display today. Unfortunately, these have all been this prices for almost a year now, so nothing is really new or noteworthy. A for effort though.

You don't need to excuse yourself to ANYONE when all you're doing is trying to help others out. There seem to be members who don't do anything but nitpick about everything. Don't worry about peeps like them... it's not worth the time and effort.

Thanks for the deal. I do want to say I think some of the people in here are wound way to tight. A person sees something that they think is a good enough deal to alert the others here on this forum and it's already been posted then people rip them apart. I ,for one, hardly ever post deals just becasue of this reason. I mean really, how long does it take out of your super important life to read a post that might have been posted twice. 5 seconds...ten at the most. If you click on it and have already seen elsewhere on site, let them know in a nice way, don't treat them like a jerk. Remember, it's nice to be nice.
 
And WTF is it with people posting used game prices and comparing them to new game prices. Apples to Oranges, PenguinMaster. New is new, used is a crap shoot. And no, GameFly isn't new either.
