What exactly does PM a person do? If I recieve a PM, how will I know?

It sends a private message. Click on the "PM'S" in the upper right and if you have received one it will be there.

In your PROFILE, you can even choose the option of recieving an email every time you get a new PM (Private Message). It will say "Notify on new Private Message" and click on "Yes" and at the bottom click "Submit". Now you'll recieve an email for every PM you get. It's simple.

I would turn on the email notification that Devin spoke of. You will generally know when someone is going to PM you though, or they will announce it in the topic when they do PM you.
