Yeah, I'm staying away from legal jargon. It's not my forte.

And I like the "I was not notified of any "error" in listing prior to my card being charged or package being shipped. So that is EXACTLY what I paid for." That's a huge thing. They should have checked the shipment before shipping to notify the customer rather than shipping without the guitar and charging the customer. Nice angle.

Oh, I have a question guys. How do you post a picture on here? I figure I'll post whatever slip that comes today with my GH. FEDEX says it's in transit and it's like 90 minutes from my house.

Yeah it did, but I dont have the time to complain for a week. Ill just get the refund, unless they happen to get more in stock. They sell out almost immediately at EB though, and it seems they dont hold stock for replacements, they put them on the website.

Check the EB morning update thread, its on the front page. As far as I can tell Im the only one who didnt get the guitar as well.
 
Okay, I talked to two supervisors (!) and neither buged. It's not worth it. I just took the FedEx label.

And you beter call NOW if you are because they are removing the listing again. They said it will be gone within 30 minutes.

Who the hell is trading the game without the guitar anyways, and why would Gamestop / EB accept it game only, since it NEEDS the guitar to play?

Does it require the guitar? I figured you could use a controller like DDR.
 
The game CAN be played with the normal PS2 controller.

Horay. It's nice to be on a boat with so many people, I hope to see the rest of you on deck for the party where we gather and bitch about how we got ripped off by...THE MAN.

I'll give em a call monday have em send me a call tag and send this thing back. There's no way I'm paying 40 more dollars to just buy a controller and pay seperate shipping for that since I payed 2 day shipping + tax to get this thing early(When I thought I was going to get the set like advertised).

FYI!!

Thanks to EB, they now are selling Preowned Guitar Hero's on ebgames.com for $31.xx AC w/ free shipping (remember all 3 codes)! This blows this deal away (since the success rate from EB is much higher. Most people report recieving everything (since it states on website "Includes Instruction and Packaging" including the box and all other inserts).

I picked up one today, so I'm giving up on this GS order once I get the EB order. I'll just ship the worse of the discs back to Gamestop and keep the other for myself. = )

It's all working out marvously.
 
That's the thing, you have to do it RIGHT after the EBgames.com morning update which happens between 7-7:30 AM, sometimes near 8. They go WAY too fast due to Morning Update thread, but they were there. You just gotta jump right on them as soon as the update happens. I purchased mine at 7:37 AM yesterday.

But they seem to have a lot in. Yesterday's restock was 18, and they were gone in a few minutes (making me think someone bought all 17, while I bought just one).

Curious if any of you here got a new one from GS besides wolverine? I didn't order, but this thread has had my attention and was looking for an update :)

got it with no guitar...this deal is bunk.

but i just played it for 3 hours with my roomate with the controller which was kinda fun. still going back tomorrow.

I called and he was prepared-- said it was a mistake on B+N's part, told me they had no guitars and sent me a shipping label through email before I could even start. .
