It seems to be a CD with 10 free downloads from Connect...
Is this worth putting in my PC?

I got one. I checked out www.connect.com first before I put it in my PC, and you can't even use the service unless you're using IE 5.5. I'm guessing I might also need the Memory Stick Duo Brain Implant (R) to actually listen to the songs. Just guessing.

Strange, because I buy music from there(Sony's Connect Service), and I don't have IE. Well, that's after you download the program. Sounds like a scam to me. I'm joking of course. 10 free downloads - if no one wants their free downloads, send them over to me!

Received this in the mail as well from Gamefly but am hesitant to use it... I had to go through Sonic Stage - and I did find spyware afterwards (through Spybot). I d/l the GOW OST through an offer on the back of the instruction booklet.

Nevertheless - it was a pain, but I got what I wanted burned to a CD and then uninstalled it in about an hour and a half.

I loaded the CD and there is a link you choose AFTER you have installed the Connect Store software (btw, you don't need the CD for this -- you can just do it by their website). You are asked for your e-mail address. I'm assuming it MUST match that of your GameFLY account so that's the one I entered. It then generates a code #.

Since I already have the CD, I may only need some GameFLY acct. e-mail addresses and I'll probably generate another "10 FREE downloads" code. Hmmm...
