Oh boy, do I feel your pain, I went through the exact same thing. You've heard the saying "You need money, to make money", right? I always thought I would never make money, as I didn't have any to start with. Well, when you get pretty desperate, you start thinking serious thoughts. What I would do, is every Saturday, get up at 9:00, and head on over to my local library. I would always choose the 2nd story computers, as it was quiet and peaceful up there. Anyways, I would search on Google, upon hours and hours "Get rich quick", "How to make money fast", "Cheap Video Games", etc. The last one is how I found this site
I was starting to see a pattern, because at the library, your limited to one hour, that's all. So, one hour out of the week, I would do this. It was getting me nowhere. What I needed was more time, or at least my own computer. I asked my parents for a computer, to which they said no. So I thought about it, and headed over onto "Pass it on", my local thrift store. There, I found an old Compaq Presario, with one of those huge CRT beige monitors. Took me 3 trips, from there, to my house. I lived about 6 blocks away, but I was determined. You should have seen me, 100 pounds, scrawny arms, carrying this huge bulky computer screen.
Later on that night, I had no idea of the inner working of a computer. I took everything apart, screw by screw, and dusted and cleaned everything, carefully transcribing everything I did, so I could put it back together. After I had cleaned it, it took a good hour or so, but I figured out where everything plugged into. Lo and behold, my own computer
I had my own personal computer, Windows XP Home Basic Edition, and I was pumped. Now here's where the real learning begin. I had a 256MB USB Drive that I would take to the library, and pirate as much E-books as I could, over various topics such as Web Design, Pyramid Schemes, Getting Things Done, just general things I thought could help me get rich. I would take them home, and just absord the knowledge. That's where I learned webdesign, and I remmeber doing my first design. I got $600 in a week, and I was just shocked. It was delivered to my Paypal account, but being 15, I couldn't retreive the money. So I got my Grandma to hook her bank account to it, and Boom, I had money. So you could go that route, or just get a "Cash under the table" job, like I used to have, washing the damn dishes >_<
Random ideas you could do:
I'm sure you were with everyone else when the Pokemon card craze was around, right? Why not try completing a collection, be it all the Base set, or the Neo Destiny set, or something, and sell it as a whole?
One thing I used to do, is go around....well, whenever I got the chance, as I had no car, but when we WOULD go to McDonalds, or Dairy Queen, I would ask for one of there Largest cup sizes, but with no ice and no drink. They always looked at me like I was weird. Then the next time I would come in, I would just refill the cups with Soda, for free, as it's legal

, that saved me about $2 evertime I was thirsty for a 32oz.
If you find your really competive at games, you could do another thing I used to do. Get a group of people at school, and hold a game tournament, where everone throws a $20 into a bucket, and the winner get's it all. I made about $400 winning a Smash Bros Mellee tournament
