Is there somewhere that sells just art boxes, either official or custom-made, for anime? I have a couple series' i'd like to have an artbox too, and was wondering if there's somewhere i can get them. My list includes (*=not sure if there's an official one, a custom one would be fine too):

-Chobits
-Elfen Lied
-Death Note*
-FullMetal Alchemist*
-GTO (Season 1, or as a set)*
-School Rumble
-Yu Yu Hakusho*

I second this request. I have the street fighter II: V complete series and hate that damn box in which it comes. No plastic sleeve case like other boxes just the flaps swing freely.

I've seen this posted here before. None of the shows you asked for, and the main page hasn't been updated in over a year. Interesting to look at, though.

In general, for the official boxes you will need to just buy the volume 1+artbox and just sell the volume 1 if you already have it. Boxes are pretty hard to find on their own.

This. Older series it's a bitch and a half to find 1+artbox even, so goodluck on most. I've been hunting for one box for *MONTHS* now. I've finally found it but now I'm broke and can't grab it.. >_>

I know, but to find old ones like Chobits are almost impossible. The only place that has them is Amazon, and the lowest price is around $70 =/

I've already done your trick for Speed Grapher, Berserk, Beck, Hellsing, and Le Chevalier D'eon if it makes you feel any better ;).

A few years back, some guy was making custom boxes. I don't recall his name, but he made a really nice one for Cowboy Bebop (when it was really hard to find that boxset.) Maybe can someone jolt my memory.

Consider it jolted.

The guy received a cease and desist from I think Pioneer on making these (in relation to their catalog, anyway). I'm not sure if that impacted his side business or not.
