A question about sealed games with loose discs

I have two sealed psone games that have loose discs inside.
Is this a big deal in a collector's eyes?
Would this affect the value of the games if I were to sell them?
I haven't really heard much about this.

Yes, good idea. It might not be a bad idea to tape it to the inside of the case, then re-shrink it to protect it. If you explain why you did it then it shouldn't affect its value too much.

i will do that
now that i really check i have four games altogether with the loose discs...all ps one titles...damn crappy cases

all discs are completely perfect...phew!
they were all still on the thing in the middle of the cd case that holds the cd in place, but they must have been shifting from front to back not side to side, there were no scrathces
now how would I go about reshrink wrapping them?
or should I just play them :)

dw7
brave fencer musashi
wild arms 2
final fantasy IX

i am pissed that i had to open them, but what else was I gonna do. I would feel bad if i just tried to sell them and pass them on to someone else without letting them know.

If you want to rewrap them, any specialty store can do that for you. But those would all be worth playing - there isn't a bad game in the bunch. If you only choose one, play DW7.

thanks for the advice sonarrat you have been very helpful
i really bought them to play them to make up for the years of missed game playing that I have endured :)
This loose disc thing just made my choices easier that's all
I have been having real bad luck with psone games though. I bought a sealed copy of Grandia that is awesome except for the huge crack the back of the case suffered in the shipping process and a few other horror stories, bt whatever...I didn't get ripped off so I am happy
and I am just really glad that all discs are fine, because I know I won't be ruining any of them as I always take pristine care of all of my games
besides I still have a bunch of gems in my collection
and i could always sell these games again if i wanted to used at a decent price as i got all of them for under $40 with the exception of dw 7, that one i got for $45

A mint DW7 is a steal for $45. I remember that my local Music for a Song had one copy of that game waaaaaaay into the PS2 generation - I kept seeing it on the shelf, $39.99, and thinking that had to be a misprint. No way could a PS1 game still be worth that much. How wrong I was. By the time I found out how valuable it was, it was long gone.

Thankfully a CAG sold me a sealed one for the same price as it listed for back then.

In the future, put in the listing that the game is sealed but the disc is loose in the case. That way they know the game is like that but you are still leaving it sealed.

That would have been my advice as well.

I wouldn't bother rewrapping them. The seal is removed and therefore they are now used games.

Technically they aren't used. I haven't played them, never even touched the booklets.
I checked the front and back of the discs that were loose and pushed them back down into their places.
I also didn't remove the seal...They are still on all four games..they are right back where they were before. no one would even know I had peeled them back :)
I did a damn good job, no residue or creases or anything.
Of course I would still let people know that I had to open the games in order to avoid disc damage, but they are still brand spanking new with the exception of the shrinkwrap
the way i see it is why would anyone take the chance of buying sealed games with the possibility of the discs being scratched because they are loose, you know what I mean? I would always have that in the back of my mind and it would irritate me.
