A Question

Hello,

I want to go and get an Xbox 360 because I had just bought a ’40 Inch H.D.T.V. with HDMI. And I have a question, One Should I get Elite or just buy an HDMI Pro edition? Do I really need the 120 GB hard drive? And what are the chances that I could get the red ring on the Elite or Normal Pro. Because I Heard That the HDMI Edition “fixes” the red ring. Well thank you very much for your time.

It really depends on how much you plan on downloading. I am down to 6.9 gb on my hard drive and I don't keep much downloads that take up much space. Patches, extra maps, etc. do end up taking a lot of space up if you have a lot of games like myself. I don't have any music on my hard drive as either, so if you plan to put that on, that takes a lot of space as well. I plan on getting myself an elite and getting a transfer kit since I will need the 120 gb hard drive very soon with so many more good games coming out. Then again, I already have close to 80 games on the 360, I doubt you will get that many any time soon,

Personally, I say get the Elite. If/when digital distribution becomes a large item (think 3 years) you'll already have all the space you need. Hell, I've got the 120 GB, and I've already used 45 GBs on it. And that's taking it light.
