A tribute to... mousin

This news is heartbreaking.

Mousin gave us some laughs and some things to think about. I just reread his GPA thread and it just made me so sad to think that someone so young could be gone just like that- I'm sure over nothing. It is just too senseless.

My sympathy to his grieving family and all who cared about him.

Despite his .67 GPA he still had better english skills then slidecage. Sucks that he died so young, but at least there were plenty of witnesses to make sure that lady goes to jail for a long time.

Sounds like a gang thing. Esp the part about 5 or 6 ppl running back to an SUV. Was mousin in a gang?

The woman-beast who stabbed him sounds like a real winner. Hope your area has the death penalty OP.
I remember the avatar, but I can't remember much of anything about him.

Still a shame none the less.
i remember that too...i didnt know him that well either but i remember some of his posts and his gpa thread....RIP mousin you will be surely missed.

I remember Mousin. He was a good guy. Thats a shame. RIP Mousin.

By the way, should we forward his posts to the prosecuting attorney?
Good point, I didn't think about that. Sorry Jpod I thought you meant it was because of him backing out of a trade.
God no, i'm not that disturbed. Seperate incident obviously. I'm just saying...
I backed out of a trade with you too because you were spamming me in IM at work every 20 minutes.

Guess I'm next guys.

jPoD you stupid idiot, someone ban this guy, its been long enough.
Hopefully. God knows someone should end your pathetic existence on this earth. You're nothing but a complete douchebag. I dont wanna know what Mr. Jefferson's school has done to your head. And maybe I did spam you, but usually when someone tries to communicate with someone else and they oblige, it isnt spam. I was just trying to orchestrate the freakin trade einstein...

EDIT: Oh, and another thing...Why would I be banned? I've done nothing wrong....If it's anyone who treats the users of this site with ZERO respect, it's you. You've got the issues.

Just to further illustrate the validity of what i'm saying. Let's look at mr. Jooky's stellar feedback on TGN:

Why dont you do us all a favor and stop spamming the thread showing respect to the deceased and open another thread where you can bash me personally. Thanx.
jPOD shut the fuck up. This isn't the place for that.

Goodbye Mousin, your in God's Hands now.

Jesus (GMOOJ)
ummm....no.

But i'm done. You guys need to chill.

^^
I think it was one of it... before he had his gf.. then his gf with a pirate type of look

He was one of the only people I talked to outside of CAG and he seemed like a cool guy.

mousin you probably had some good deals off of CAG, but I'm sure you're getting the best ones up there.

And seeing mousin's avatar all around seems a little sad since it's not really him =[. But R.I.P mousin!

Ehhhh, that 5 dollar CC clearance a few years ago would be hard for anyone to top, even Jesus.
How'd I know my posts would be deleted? It's all good, just say something to me....
If you knew they'd be deleted, why'd you post at all? Seriously, I didn't delete them, but the mod who did was justified in doing so. Your first post was worded very poorly.

No it wasnt. It was obvious I didnt mean it that way. But w/e. Forget it.

I read your posts before they were deleted and it sounded like you said karma basically justified his dying from murder due to ignoring you for a trade. If that wasn't the message you intended, then yes, your post was very poorly worded. And really, if you didn't mean that anyway, why even mention it at all? If what you said was true, then no one would have misinterpreted what you said in the first place as well as not having your posts deleted.

My head hurts....But yeah, believe me, i'm not that sick. What happened was horrible. Not to mention the article and her statement were terribly disturbing.

The mod in question decided it was better to delete the posts in question, as well as the related posts, rather than his first reaction, which was to give the poster in question a nice time out for being an inconsiderate fuck. mousin's dead, under horrible circumstances, seemed like the last place for a joke about karma.

Which is exactly how I read it, and decided we were better with the posts gone, to save any question of reading the "poor wording" and making the same "mistake".

In all honesty I can't say I'm too shocked. Mousin definitely didn't seem to be headed down the right path in life. However, no one deserves to go at such a young age.

I can fondly recall some of my first dealings with mousin, I like many others joked at his blatent stupidity, and bragging about a .67 GPA, yet he took it all in stride, and I believe the majority of the CAG community embraced him as a result. After that infamous thread, everything he posted was funny to me, I always felt like he was trying to get a hold of things in his posts, yet he'd end up landing way off course somehow or another, much like a television character.

Well, I guess that sums it up the best, mousin was definitely a character, and he added some funny memories to my early days at CAG, may he rest in peace.

Wow. Mousin was the only person from CAG I ever talked to on AIM and had an actual conversation with. He told me all about his GF, about his parents, about a lot of stuff like that. We did discuss a PS2 trade a couple years ago in october of '04. I almost feel bad that I didn't trade it now, we talked about it for 2 weeks but I just ended up trading it in to EB for more credit than he was offering cash. R.I.P. buddy.

Well regardless, i'm sorry about that. I dont want everyone to think i'm some inconsiderate fuck.

This is how I felt too... I really wasn't that shocked, but it's still horrible to go at such a young age, and over something so pointless like a fight.
Well regardless, i'm sorry about that. I dont want everyone to think i'm some inconsiderate fuck.
You're not.

I think that's been cleared up now, between your comments recently, and the posts deleted.

It was a badly worded post that was taken the wrong way, and it's gone. Out of sight, out of mind.

Highlights from the .67GPA thread:
hahhah, army. i head navy and marines go in first, i want to be a alive man :)
:( Just flat out depressing, but then he says this...
perhaps i should die. :[
And then he makes me laugh saying this:
you know what? if something bad happens again youll be talking about a dead man. AND IMA HAUNT YOU PEOPLE WHO WERE MEAN!>.

I agree completely with this post. Like you said, he took everything in stride, and wasn't offended by people calling him a moron, he just continued on posting and sharing his musings about his life with us while both us and him commented. Because of this, we as a community embraced him unlike we do with most people who start off at CAG with a topic like he did. He contributed positively to the community with his posts, both deal and non-deal. He was a unique guy, and I'm quite certain there aren't a lot of people like him in this world, which is unfortunate. Wherever he is now, there are no such thing as cheap ass deals- he gets the games for free.

I didnt bother reading this when it was first posted thinking it was one of the normal silly post and that he just "left CAG" cause he was tired of shit. Needless to say I didnt know him on a personal level but it sucks when someone goes in that manner.

If any of our more respected members here is willing to start a little dontation type thing to help maybe send some flowers and shit or somethign to the familly to let them know we're all saddened by the loss, Id put in on it.
hahaha, "yo, my man whipsmartbanky has a cheap ass schwinn stingray, its got missing handle bars and pedals, he uses crayons to give himself pinstrips, im m-to the n mousin and im about to pimp your bike!!"

I completely forgot about that! Made me laugh just as much now as it did then. Rest in peace, m-to the-n.

Damn. I think I saw the LA Times coverage of this but had no idea anyone involved was someone I knew in a distant way. It makes me wonder how many other times I might have read of somebody's death without knowing they were somebody familar from online.
Bump. This should be stickied.
As requested.

R.I.P. Mousin. Can't say I knew you beyond your .67 GPA thread but no one deserves such an exit. Well, maybe Hitler and Osama but certainly not you.

As for the bitch, she gets the Terry Tate Badge of Shame!

Wow, I just came upon this thread. It really is a shame that someone as unique as Mousin has to leave the world at such a young age.

The one good thing in all this is, hopefully, Mousin is leading a much better life in heaven. One can only hope he’s enjoying an endless supply of cheapass video games.

Rest in peace.

I'm a bit late to the party, whatever.

I never exchanged words with Mousin, nor did I ever read his "critically acclaimed" thread. Regardless, he was a part of CAG community, not just one of the people who scoped out deals, but a real part of our community. In that respects I felt that I knew him, even if only through proxy.

R.I.P. Mousin - no one deserves to die young.

Considering the way he straightened up and seemed to pull things together after that thread, I was really hoping that he would prove me wrong.
If his life wouldn't have been cut so tragically short, I think he might have been able to.
