AC: Brotherhood (360/PS3) $26.99 used \ $30 new @ GAMESTOP!!!!
This reminds me that I still need to play AC.
skip AC1 and go straight to AC2. read online to summarize the story for the first game.

AC1 is terrible. I never finished it

Shame on you all. AC1 is the best AC game. It actually has a real story and not some retarded Da Vinci Code ripoff bullshit.

So in the next AC have they said if you actually get to play as Altair?

From what I've seen he's far cooler than Ezio. I wish Altair got 3 games instead of Ezio.

i agree but bloodlines is a lot of fun for psp just beat it today

Brotherhood is easily the best AC so far, some, I don't know how some can say that the first AC is the best, it was waaaaayyyyyy too repetitive. But Brotherhood is definitely worth the $30

It's mostly because of the story and because altiar is a much cooler assassin then ezio. Those are the reasons why AC1 is my favorite.
I'll have to give bloodlines a shot.
I've played through Bloodlines and I would only recommend it to diehard AC fans. I suffers from the typical PSP problems such as poor camera controls, long loading times, and short length. The A.I. is also not as good as the console games (i.e. you can run up to enemies and assassinate them even when they're looking straight at you, not just by sneaking up from behind).

I was actually thinking of skipping AC1 for now and go on to the second one and pick up a cheap collector's edition for Brotherhood at my local best buy to prepare for Revelations later this year

How is this a quadruple exclamation point deal?!?!?!?!? Maybe one. Quadruple is reserved for $15 and below on a new copy or some weird deal that makes it free and they pay you to take the game.

I've avoided AC:Bro because of my incredibly unfavorable experience with 2. Those awful, hammed-up accents....

If anything, I'd suggest a wait until the obligatory

yes! I couldn't play past like 2 hours of ACII with those accents... I don't get how people enjoyed that more than AC1, and that's the same reason I haven't tried out AC: Brotherhood.

I gave up on AC1 because in order for 100% completion in the memory strands you have to play through the ENTIRE memory strand if you miss something (which includes possibly multiple unrelated assassinations). I hear they finally fixed that in Brotherhood, though I've been pestered about how much better AC2 is than 1 and that I should give it a chance. Describe how absolutely awful these accents are, because I was hoping to snag it at a K-mart with my gaming coupon this week.

ON TOPIC: AC: Bro is actually only $25 used (still $30 new) on Gamestop.com (Online-Only).

^ It's a "permanent" price-drop (CoD4 has fluctuated between $10 ~ $15 used quite a bit), as well.

Did you ever see that Family Guy episode where Peter grows a mustache, and attempts to speak gibberish-italian?

Almost as ridiculous as that.

Lmao, really? I know exactly what you're talking about, but thanks to whoever for posting the clip below. Could Ubisoft really not afford decent VAs?

It's a moot point, I think I'm going to pick up Splatterhouse from K-mart while it's on sale for $20.

Also, in case you didn't notice my massive amount of edits previously, this topic title needs to be changed since AC: Bro has been price-dropped to $25 used/$30 new.
