ACME, Shaw’s, and Albertson’s are running a promotion this week:
Purchase $100 in gift cards (Xbox Live points, Best Buy, Amazon, etc) and you will receive $20 back to spend at that store on groceries.

I used this deal to sweeten the best buy $100 reward zone certificate for preordering 5 games.

You can only use the $20 gift card on food but even so it’s still a good deal.

My local ACME had about 100 different gift card options including XBOX live, Amazon, Best Buy, Disney, Toys R US, etc.

I know this is not a straight video game deal but maybe it is useful to some of the members here.

What did they give you for the free $20? Was it an actual $20 ACME Gift Card or just some sort of printed coupon that had to be used all at once for $20 off any grocery purchase?

I'd be willing to just buy a $100 Albertson's GC if it means getting an extra savings of 17% (+$20) off of my Summertime Sale Soda purchases.

After my purchase was completed, the register printed out three $20 paper coupons for $20 off my next purchase. The $20 is each good for a week after purchase. I'm going tonight to re-load my bare cabinets..

The offer is good more states.. I am in NJ so you have to add NJ, PA, DE and anywhere there is an albertsons, ACME, or Shaw's.

This is probably true of ACME and Shaw but not of albertsons.


Offer is not valid at Albertsons LLC locations
which I guess are the locations in other states that I didnt list above.

Just going from the promotion info on the albertsons website.
 
Used it at ACME in NJ to purchase my PS3 Blops bundle gift cards. Ended up getting $100 bestbuy giftcard (which I used to buy an amazon gift card) and $60 in ACME coupons. for about 320 total.
 
This is awesome, I'm going there on Saturday after I drop off my dry cleaning. This is amazing... I know I'll spend $100 at Amazon since they charge sales tax with every purchase. (serious they do, sucks)
